***Official Political Discussion Thread***

The number of Democrats who don't understand and cannot interpret the 538 model is incredible. I'm not sure if they don't get it or they're just using it as a coping mechanism to deal with Joe being so far behind in the actual polls.

"Joe is behind in every single swing state poll"

"But 538 says it's a toss up!" 😂😂😂

Have you signed up to volunteer at your local DNC yet?

Realistically Biden/Harris worst administration of all time theres no way they win 2020 election vs anyone else but a polarizing Trump

What are you talking about? They've actually done a great job.

- They've held NATO together
- past the PACT act
- close to negotiating a ceasefire with Hamas and Israel
- inflation is cooling, consumer prices went down in June
- we are likely getting a rate cut in September
The Dow was literally at an all-time high
- pulled the US out of Afghanistan

What exactly are they doing so poorly?

Shoutout to the Fed. Handled inflation very well for what looks like a smooth landing. Props to the administration for keeping people employed too.

Biden handled this war horribly. Unfroze accounts leading to more money to Hamas and at same time provided more weapons to Israel.
The floating pier thing they built was a huge failure.
Neither Bibi nor any Hamas leader will listento the U.S. There wont be a ceasefire until most of Hamas leaders are eliminated.

- pulled the US out of Afghanistan

Realistically this was a disaster all around. One can argue they were fixing the mistakes of a previous administration so I cant put that on Biden too much, but how the withdrawal was handled, leaving all the weapons there to the Taliban was horrible all around.

The obvious "poorly" would be to point to caping for Israel and the continued arms deals after it was clear Israel was just flattening Gaza without much regard for civilian casualties.
As far as negotiating and trying to get an agreement in place, I think Biden has done pretty well. When it comes to overall PR, not so much...

However it's also not realistic to expect the US to change course after such a long and strong partnership with Israel. Unless there's some radical electoral revolution, maintaining and supporting the Israeli partnership is the baseline. We don't live in some fantasy world where longstanding political/military and intelligence relationships are broken over a couple ten thousand deaths.
Saudi Arabia has more political power than ever and this is after they've chopped up a journalist in a foreign country and tried to cover it up, in addition to racking up a killcount of over 100k in Yemen.

The US had to leave at some point. Was it a bad exit plan? Doesn't really matter. Trump signed the agreement with the Taliban to withdraw. Joe just extended it by 4 months

They left a ton of gear for the ANA. A lot of gear and vehicles get left behind because they're in poor condition and it costs more to transport it back than it does to just leave it. Always been like that

Just stop now. You are speaking facts and they can only comprehend trolling and meme jokes.

Which administrations are the second and 3rd worse? Better yet, what are the top 5 worse presidential administrations of all-time?

Agreed

He was busting his *** trying to get Bibi and Israel to stop killing Palestinians while also trying to thread a political needle between two important Dem constituencies who are at odds while also trying to maintain some semblance of continuity in American foreign policy

For his efforts he got a political campaign against him from voters who are inexplicably eager to throw him to the curb in favor of a guy who is far worse for their cause

Joe Biden
Barack HUSSEIN Obama
Barack DRONE STRIKE Obama
Hilary Clinton
Abraham Lincoln

Anymore dumb *** lib questions to get owned on? 💅
