Do you not realize that Bill that Trump had Johnson kill would have been one of the strongest border deals in decades (even stronger than when HE was in office)? Of course he couldn't let it go through. Would look really bad on him as he didn't want a victory for Biden's admin.

The bill Trump got them to scuttle was written by James Lankford, one of the most conservative members of the entire Senate. When you talk about a compromise bill and how much you get, it was heavily weighted towards things conservatives have been yelling about forever. More money for border control officers. They're honestly lucky a chunk of Democrats even signed up to support it, that's how tilted it was in Republicans favor.
They're screaming it's a humanitarian crisis at the border, threatening to shut down the whole government unless it was addressed, and then Trump wants it to not pass solely because he perceives it will give Joe Biden a legislative win.
Trump is a scum human, and you supporting that regardless of how many groups he's promised to go after because you think none of it will hurt you personally kind of shows what values you have.

If Biden had any values, he would’ve kept some of trumps policies instead of trying to out do what was already in place, resulting hundreds of thousands of migrants entering the country after title 42 was lifted. He just wants credit for his plan under his presidency.

Pretty weird that in 2018 there wasn't sufficient technology available to track where you sent young children off to after they forced them away from their families. I sincerely hope your family never has to make the decision to leave the country they've called home for multiple generations out of life and death circumstances. And no, if I did seek refuge in what people call the greatest country on Earth, I would not expect my children as young as three to be ripped away from me and then told that nobody knows where they were sent.

We other people to take care of. We have homeless, a drug epidemic, veterans. There are more people that need help. Need to take care of our own. This isnt happening. How is it the greatest country if we can’t even take care of our own?
