Politicians are spineless. they sling mud at each other, get people all rilled up to the point of protesting and fighting in the streets, then they go and have coffee together and discuss overlapping issues after the election/wwe match is over. It messes with peoples heads who are affected and by the issues at hand and feel left behind when these people change up their allegiance.

People take politicians seriously when they are all spineless and go whichever way the wind blows.

Yes you're absolutely correct. Democrats and Republicans work exactly like the WWE. They hate on each other.. and incite the masses to follow that same hatred. Then after it's all over, they laugh and hang out at the Capital Hill lunchroom dining together. And yes I agree it messes with people's heads... because most don't know that once the campaigning is over.. it's back to business. Obviously it doesn't always work that way with the people because of the constant 24/7 news cycle that keeps feeding them the same propaganda (Fox News or MSNBC). Sadly this is how DC operates... and frankly I have no issues with that because it's been that way every since they invented political attack ads.

However regardless of all that.. Bernie is an elected Senator and he has a job to do. Just like Obama. I am sure Obama has a million things he would rather do than help Donald with the transition but he has a job to do for the benefit of this country regardless if he likes it or not because he took a sworn oath.

I don't see how that correlates to what Bernie said about working with Donald and the comment about why minorities don't mess with Bernie.

It makes sense to me why they don't.

Where as whites women not voting for Clinton doesn't to me at least when it comes to the serious matters.

I know you've supported Bernie, but have also brought up his flaws in regards to race issues. I kind of forgot what you've written before. 

My problem with Bernie is that he speaks about class issues and race issues like they are two sets of problems. We need to help the working class (i.e the white working class), but we also need to stop discriminating minority groups.

He let Hillary out flank him on messaging because Hillary ties the economics and social fates of minority groups, the white working class, and America as a whole together much better than Bernie ever did. Her intersectionality is way more appealing to minorities.

Bernie could get easily played by Trump because he could throw out a infrastructure bill, Bernie will stupidly run around supporting Trump and thanking him for trying to help the middle class. Then the next bill will be some white supremacist ********, now Bernie gotta pivot like Trump is the worst guy in the world for trying this. Then Trump presents an anti-poverty bill, Bernie says he will support that, then he will have to pivot to talk against another "bigot bill"

They can twist ole boy around until he comes off like he is dog whistling "let's help white people and not hurt minorities".

I have always said that social democracy and white supremacy are not mutually exclusive ideas. If Bernie helps Trump pass an infrastructure bill that builds highways through black neighborhoods, that use contractors that discriminate, and dos very little to help the minority groups that need it, then all he help pass is "Reparations for White People" for what globalism has done to them.

If Bernie wants to go that route, cool, but he better make sure he is shouts down and stops the bigotry as loudly as he champions the left wing stuff.

Because if I'm a minority, that is worried about the potential hell a Trump presidency might unleash on my community, hearing Bernie refer to Donald as a potential ally would trouble me. Cause if the left wing **** passes but so does the white supremacy, Bernie gonna have to explain why he was able to help Donald in one area but not stop him in the other.
