That entire policy list is like the antithesis of want Trump is going to do.


He is claims to be for the working man, but his policies are very pro big business as opposed to pro labor.


Like the is no way I see him appointing two members to the Fed that will target reaching full employment. Even though given the havoc his is about to cause on the fiscal side, that may be wise.

I don't think that particular part happens without some major institutions like JP Morgan and Wells Fargo getting involved along with outside pressure. But the big guys already have a seat at the table already and won't feel pressed to change anything. But it might take a recession for a change to happen.

My biggest fear for a recession is that Trump might fire off all the fiscal bullets in the gun to jump start growth now, so when the recession comes, we won't have anything left to kill it with.

Think about it, the most popular policies to fight a recession on the fiscal side are cutting taxes, especially supply side (Republicans) or government spend, especially infrastructure (Democrats).

Trump wants to do both right away just to get us over 3-4% growth. If we enter a recession after years of huge tax cuts and some kind of infrastructure spending (Trump infrastructure plan is horrible though) then I can't imagine things we would have to do to get out of that recession. We better hope that interest rates are relatively high at the time, and the recession is not too bad.

Rubio is in a very hard area right now. He's on tight wire. He has to position himself as a free thinking politician but can't risk losing the bloc of voters that make up the Trump coalition.

thats why i feel like it is going to be a recipe for a disaster as well. him trying to juggle both plans is going to collapse the economy especially if they occur simultaneously. that isn't even factoring the tariffs he wants to impose or building of the wall and any ridiculous military spending.
