Rather ironic that those free speech and 1st amendment republicans are trying to gut net neutrality and leave ISP's open to throttle free speech on the internet as they see fit.
Perhaps some voters could be persuaded using an example they would really hate. What if ISP's decide to slow conservative media outlets and put organizations like CNN on full speed? Their heads would explode.

I saw that show and it is LIBBIE CONJECTURE AND INNUENDO AT ITS worst. Lots of errors and lies. Should've been called a butler's pantry tale where they show how men are oppressed in America. We can't speak our minds anymore because LIBBIES will call us sexist and racist. OBUMMER ruined my life.

yup. the groundwork is set.

imagine another supreme court justice retires or passes away and trump appoints an even more ultra-conservative judge. travel ban gets imposed in its full glory. we enter war with NK, China, and a couple other countries. trump calls for martial law in big cities. economy goes south, unemployment returns to 2009 levels. prices rise rapidly, and the burden is carried by all but the top 0.1% wealthiest Americans. executive branch finds ways to censor the press and control the internet. rash of terrorism is met with calls to jail political opponents, starting with Hillary and Mueller. this is made possible when the far-right GOP sweeps the midterm elections.

sound crazy? so did what happened in 2017 just a couple years ago.

just keep in mind that all this erosion of our institutions and public trust was not to get us to where we are today. it's so that we can go to a much darker, destructive place. they're too incompetent and our institutions too strong for this to be likely, but I still feel like it's possible.
