Skynet status...

This sort of stuff gets turned on citizens the moment foreigners (and their business) stop coming in.

Attacks on the free exchange of information (or the criminalization of it) is a hallmark of dictatorial political systems. Back home, you couldn't discuss politics in open air (e.g, at the flea market/restaurant/bar/wherever people go to socialize), unless you, like everybody else, complained that life sucked. The moment you started asking why and offering solutions is the moment people physically stepped away from you in the event that a government informant was among the crowd. Sometimes, you were even accused of being an undercover on a mission to identify possible opposition members.

Policies like that work in environments where lack of trust in one another is high, and the US is currently fertile ground for the implementation of a surveillance state. Everybody is rethinking the political and social environment of the US and the people that surround them.

Yea it's definitely a real slippery slope and the fact that there doesn't seem to be any sort of watchdog or accountability involved makes it even scarier. All of these kinds of stories like this one,the surveillance of immigrants social media and the ones where they've been starting to ask about political affiliation when folks are crossing the border paints a real concerning and bleek vision of the future. It's part of the reason why I tell folks to cool their jets when they say things can't possibly get worse. Unfortunately they most certainty can under this regime...

We've seen it happen all too often around the world under despotic rule for it to be out of the question in the States,'exceptionalism' be damned

Campaign reform.

That will be the first of many things that will need to be addressed whenever the Dems take back the control. Healthcare, education, and the economy don't matter in a country of weak institutions, and the US need to wake up to the fact that its institutions have been exploited by the few and powerful.

Is this Paul Ryan's Cindy? Those 700 dollars will find her a babysitter for maybe 7 weeks if she's lucky. (In NYC, that will cover a week).

People don't have the hindsight to these implications. I meaning legally it's a faulty I believe. But this merica, they will implement some act add terrorism or illegal to the name, to justify this ****.

For the better part of the season, Popovich has replied "sooner rather than later" when questioned about Leonard's potential return.

"I keep saying sooner rather than later," Popovich said jokingly. "It's kind of like being a politician. It's all baloney, doesn't mean anything."

Pop :lol::nthat:

It's on the record from the orangutan and chief that he purposely attacks high profile African-Americans because of a feeling that there is privilege for minorities.

Cats are really living in the upside down

There isn't "room for interpretation" here. When we have a complex human function of critical thinking. It's like dude tries moving goal posts bit by bit for his looney supporters. And since they're a third of the country and have infiltrated institutions, it's the only reasons their asinine opinions collectively matter.

It's really pent up resentment at efforts to try to level the playing field for minorities. Certain folks don't want to give up an ounce of the privilege they've been afforded since the countries founding

And you know the ******** that will come from him or his supporters, "those weren't his words though"

There better be something good at the end of this for enduring this hell of a presidency that has, as all rational non-cultists expected, done nothing but incite more divide, which seems to work out well to benefit certain groups of people who want to undermine this country to exploit it

People that appeal to authoritarians is the only reason any of us have to wake up to this criminal selling our country out. You aren't nationalists, you aren't patriots, you're complicit in treason and hurt your fellow citizens to prop up wealthy authoritarians.

This is the last hoorah for your movement that's on life support and the only thing that your dysfunctional party is trying to get passed is tax cuts for the wealthy and trying to strip away net neutrality, healthcare, civil rights legislation, and consumer protection. And then when there is good reporting done on it you flock in hoards calling it fake news, while people who work in actual fake news factories are on record for laughing at how easy to manipulate you are and that they target conservatives because it's so much easier and you eat it up #PizzaGate

The only reason any of this matters, and we have to pay any attention to your greedy cult leaders is because of you gullible people that vote for them and protect them. Your votes in a democracy hurt the greater good to benefit the wealthy. You don't have to look any further than the discrepancy in voting for net neutrality to see that you're complicit in selling us out.
