You can't make this up. The judge already dismissed all of Flynn's previous arguments.

Flynn also testified to the grand jury about matters he now denies ever took place, such as being on the payroll of "elements of the Turkish government" while he was the national security adviser for the Trump campaign and transition.

When all your international black support disappears...

-Bern is the Rick and Morty of politicians. You like the show, but the fans suck, so you end up being extra critical of the show because you think of both together. But you still like the show at the end of the day.
well once Pete started talking about the deficit, I as out, I can't support that.

but seriously it remains astounding to me that Pete, in his 37 year journey to running for president couldn't make a black friend. like not one???

like you HAD to know you would need one?

You knew you were going to run for president but nah not one black guy you can call to say "aye Petey from south bend, I know that dude he a good dude."

couldn't even be the gay bestie for some black women in Indiana?

I've just grown to respect how good at this Bernie is.

he's just a legit really really good politician, and better than all the other people in the field an his ability to stay on message ensures the election will be about actual issues and NOT about

Elizabeth Warrens native ancestry or Joe Biden's son, or Amy's history as a prosecutor ect ect.

Certainly the best candidate on that side of the aisle with a chance to beat Trump

On the other hand, he has the negative stigma of the word socialist. To many people, that's just as bad if not worse than all of the above.

Random but Goldman Sachs stole my Instagram account a while ago. By chance, I had obtained the name of their company on IG and offered it to someone from their marketing division but within hours the account was taken down. A couple days later the username was on a new account with a Goldman Sachs email address linked to it.

To be fair, the administration gave several different and contradictory justifications at the time of the strike. So they only lied most of the time, not always.
https://www.nytimes.com/2020/02/14/us/politics/white-house-memo-suleimani-strike.html
White House Memo Justifying Suleimani Strike Cites No Imminent Threat
A new report sent to Congress about the drone strike that killed Iran’s top general contradicted the original justification the administration provided.

The White House told Congress on Friday that President Trump authorized the strike last month that killed Iran’s most important general to respond to attacks that had already taken place and deter future ones, contradicting the president’s claim that he acted in response to an imminent threat.

In a legally mandated, two-page unclassified memo to lawmakers, the White House asserted that the strike that killed Maj. Gen. Qassim Suleimani was “in response to an escalating series of attacks in preceding months” by Iran and Iran-backed militias.

“The purposes of this action were to protect United States personnel, to deter Iran from conducting or supporting further attacks against United States forces and interests, to degrade Iran’s and Quds Force-backed militias’s ability to conduct attacks, and to end Iran’s strategic escalation of attacks,” said the report, which was transmitted on Friday to the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

Yeah.

Vox has an article about how M4A only works for Bernie.

Dude used an unworkable, pie in the sky program with no mayor political or public support as a rallying cry for his base and a purity test to hurt other candidates.

If a candidate suggests a robust progressive public option (Beto), they get hammered for not caring or selling people out.

If someone suggests the plan that has widespread support in the House and Senate, the plan progressives pushed for the last time, and will roughly get (Biden and Pete), they get hammered for selling people out.

If you adopt M4A, the media crushes you with "who will you pay for it." If you handwave the concerns you look insincere; if you seriously try to explain how to pay for it, you will either make yourself look like a fool (Warren) or turn people off, exposing the fact you are going to jack up their taxes a **** ton.

Bernie just handwaved all that ****, and keeps on message, never breaking the frame. So it comes off like everyone else is being disingenuous, not Bernie. Furthermore, he knows he does this with everything now. The same pie in the sky finesse he was pulling on Clinton he still pulls now. Most candidates make platforms my proposing popular progressive policies economists have pitched. Bernie does the same; then, he throws in a wild unworkable part than no one else will try to outflank. Then boom, we purity test on that. He got an online army and online media network that will back his play.

I know Sanders supporters will hate the comparison because it regards Trump, but M4A is kind of like the Border Wall. It functions as a rallying point politically more than a serious policy proposal. Besides Bernie actually being a caring individual, and Trump is a vile bigot, Bernie will get more done on his rallying cry because he is a competent person.

And in the end, if the Dems have the votes, come January 2021, President Bernie going to pass roughly the same plan that President Pete or President Joe would have. But in one scenario, it will be called a progressive victory, and in the other scenario, a neoliberal sellout.

Masterfully bit of politics if you break down the finesse. Simply masterful.

Got a lot of Dems/pundits looking funny in the light pushing him and giving him a pass all of a sudden right now...
Honestly, if you take away the perception associated with the “D” next to his name, Bloomberg is just, if not more, dangerous than Trump. I think people are seriously underestimating that just because he’s a “Democrat”.

Goonberg is being viewed by some as the "nuclear option".

Man is literally Manhattan Trump but smarter and more eloquent

The way Bloomberg entered the race and the support he is getting from folks on the Left validates a lot of the stuff rexanglorum rexanglorum has been saying about moderate liberals being accepting of economic and social violence if it comes in a more palatable way.
Welcome to the fold, comrades.
Better Bernie than Bloombiden.
