be prepared to hear that "the quarterly GDP drop isn't really a big deal. the GDP is still fine overall. it's just 1 bad quarter"
completely dismissing that the GDP drop was wholly preventable if we had better leadership at the beginning. if everyone just stayed home, masked up, and rode it out, we could be back up and running with a more marginal drop. instead, our leadership disputed science, let 50 states figure it out for themselves, prolonged COVID's presence, and here we are.
