He's following the dictator playbook, the blatant lying, the corruption, the nepotism, the attacks on the press, the calls for investigations into political opponents, the retaliation against peaceful protests, the ridiculous photo ops, the calling into question the integrity of elections while you're the sitting president and threatening to challenge the results if they don't turn out his way.
As someone who spent part of his life in Africa, this is way too familiar.

It's very obvious how things are going to go if he gets reelected by miracle. Even if he doesn't, if the GOP doesn't get trashed in the upcoming elections, they will keep pulling the same ******** with a much smarter president.
I hope folks understand that Biden is a stop gap measure and that there are a lot of government (legislative, executive, judicial) mechanisms that need to be reworked in the next 4 years if we are to keep a democracy. I hope folks don't go back to sleep after having voted for him because the authoritarians are waiting in the cut and they have seen all the ways in which the current laws can be abused to create a dictatorship.
