***Official Political Discussion Thread***

I'm not broadening the discussion regarding abortion. I'm not even talking about abortion beyond the reason people are against it. I'm using the reason you gave me for being "pro-life" and applying it to other scenarios.

Your example doesn't make any sense. Here would be a better example of what I'm doing:

Person: I support some movement for x, y, and z reasons!
Me: Ok, based on the reasons you gave me, you likely support these other movements as well.

The ALM movement exists because it completely ignores and dismisses the reasons BLM exists. I am using the reasons you gave me to make logical conclusions, I'm not ignoring or dismissing them.

Bringing up pro-life is talking about abortion. You asking why someone would be pro-life, then using the answer to talk about other issues is like a racist white person asking why someone would support Black Lives Matter and then using the answer to bring up a different discussion about lives mattering. And it is ridiculous.

"helped White men to capture our people, to abuse them, and to traffic them while our women were raped, while our men were raped by savages,” she continued. “That is who you are, Daniel Cameron. You are a coward. You are a sellout. And you were used by the system to harm your own mama, your own Black mama. We have no respect for you, no respect for your Black skin because all of our skin folk ain’t our kinfolk. And you do not belong to Black people at all.”

This is a large reason it is difficult for me to understand black people who choose to be prosecutors.

It’s interesting that you felt the need to leave out the second part of that sentence.

I know you’re trying really hard to make it seem like I said something I didn’t.

What I did: used the reason someone gave me for being against an issue to suggest that they be against other similar issues for the same reasons.

What you keep trying to say I did: use the reason someone gave me to completely dismiss and ignore the issue they support.

This is legit the same logic that racist white people use when they post Black Lives Matter under news stories about a black person taking the life of another black person.

It is disingenuous when they do it, just as it was disingenuous when you tried to invoke the term pro-life in a discussion that wasn’t related to abortion.

I simply called you out on it.

All of this “pro-life\Pro-choice\ALM\BLM” talk is ignoring one very simple, yet significant detail- how cool is it that you can actually have an abortion and like, just go about your life and go back to pursuing dreams and stuff? I don’t think enough people focus on how cool that is.

Don’t assume a fetus is innocent. Kids are ****ing mean and they are getting meaner at an earlier age.

I am confused as to what tone I should be reading these posts with

Interested in your thoughts on Daniel Cameron.

Dude is ridiculous.

At best—he is an ambitious future-politician that has abandoned his sense of decency to achieve his personal goals.

At worst—he hates himself and blames others that look like him for any perceived failures he has related to black people in America.

Either way, I can’t rock with it. It is difficult enough for me to understand black prosecutors in general. Dude is the epitome of the problem I have with them.
