I'm not broadening the discussion regarding abortion. I'm not even talking about abortion beyond the reason people are against it. I'm using the reason you gave me for being "pro-life" and applying it to other scenarios.
Your example doesn't make any sense. Here would be a better example of what I'm doing:
Person: I support some movement for x, y, and z reasons!
Me: Ok, based on the reasons you gave me, you likely support these other movements as well.
The ALM movement exists because it completely ignores and dismisses the reasons BLM exists. I am using the reasons you gave me to make logical conclusions, I'm not ignoring or dismissing them.
Bringing up pro-life is talking about abortion. You asking why someone would be pro-life, then using the answer to talk about other issues is like a racist white person asking why someone would support Black Lives Matter and then using the answer to bring up a different discussion about lives mattering. And it is ridiculous.
