themselves so its hard to gauge what to say and who to say it to
They would rather play it safe

Its people like you that made our prices skyrocket
Dont come runnin to the south side now that you surrounded by Trump flags

Desoto used to be predominantly white
Those college educated people you reference are the kids that grew up in South Oak Cliff
Went off to college and moved back home in a suburban area close to their old neighborhoods
There's still remnants of the old Desoto
There's a white guy that lives not far from me with a Trump Pence flag flying from his backyard

My whole Pops side is from the Cliff. Technically it's the 1st place I ever lived in Texas. :lol

Real talk those prices shooting up is adding generational wealth to Black households and adding money to the school district.

"bu bu buuut racism" takes not lookin good.
Wow, my granny's father may have very been a Lumbee & not a white man. She grew up in Robeson County & her pops may have just been more white than everything else. I gotta tell my mom this.

Appreciate the post.

We are saying the exact same thing.
You seem stuck on the labelling being the issue when I'm saying that breaking down the misguided stigmas and notions surrounding the labeling should be tried by the party.

The GOP shouldn't dictate the framing when they've leaned ALL the way far right themselves. Anyone left of Ronald Reagan is a far left communist wacko to them regardless. No amount of rebranding/repackaging will change that.

They claimed Barack Obama was a radical Muslim marxist out to destroy America for goodness sake

Might as well roll with it and educate and enlighten folks in bare terms instead of letting them completely control the message with buzzwords and fearmongering. Make your case instead of letting the GOP dishonestly portray your case for you.

Enough away games

I think there are huge fallacies in which racism is alive only in red states/cities & that if you vote republican, you are a racist lol

didn't vote for trump if it matters

Aint no such thing as halfway crooks.

If you support a racist then you support racism and are in fact and in practice - a racist.

Same as pregnancy.

Either you are or you aren't.

No such thing as a little bit pregnant.

I know a lot of Democratic media heads are saying this election is demoralizing even if Biden wins because it was so close in a lot of areas. But I'm actually ok with that. If trump loses the election bc a handful of states had Biden win by a few thousand votes, then you proved your pre-election point that every vote matters. So many democratic voters didn't come out for Hilary bc their mentality was "haha nobody is gonna vote for this Billionaire with no political background. It's a lock for Hillary" and we saw how that turned out.

It's possible that a 3rd party would give more power to the republicans by splitting the liberal voters

It's kinda happened that way in Canada

the 3rd party sometimes has swing power though
I can see that happening. So we need 4 parties. I can give two ****s. The point is that we need more options bro.

This has been the absolute worst presidency and then we have to sell pur souls for Biden? FOH bro ....

We need more options.

Exactly and you can't do that without explaining why its not socialism and distancing from it.

You aren't saying anything new or different here. Government run healthcare isn't socialism. We have it already for a third of our population with medicare. Democrats did a piss poor job this election delineating and explaining that most dont want socialism when republicans called it that.

Say what you want, but the opposition party will largely control the messaging whether we like it or not whether it be taxes, healthcare, etc.
