You mean will it charge your card immediately? I don't believe so. I think they charge once it ships... I could be wrong though.

im the type that drops and messes up the system and this one looks very cheaply made.

I only use mine for blu-rays anyways so the extra memory is pointless for me.

Reader Cloud works at an FYE, and says hisstore just got these posters in. As you can see, they're advertising some pretty damn hefty price reductions for the two models of the PlayStation 3.

The 80GB system - which currently retails for $400 - is down to $300. The 160GB system - which includes Uncharted, and normally goes for $500 - is down to$400.

Neither is advertised as a "sale", or "for a limited time only". They're advertised as a "new low price", with thedisclaimer "while supplies last".

A lot of the 80GBs come in a bundle with multiple free games/blu ray movies. Plus the Slim looks like trash and not expensive hardware like it should. I'm not surprised if Sony cheaped out on parts inside and out to save money based on it's selling price.

Plus, seeing this is a new piece of hardware, the reliability is unknown at this point. We all know that the PS3 Fat is very reliable.
