From what i can see is the amount of money you recieve for gta online?

I dont play gta online so thinking about getting the regual copy

Special edition has some extra DLC story related missions, some extra weapons, and the Warhorse. Ultimate version has all of whats in special edition and some RDR II online perks & boosts.

The amount of effort put in a game kinda correlates to that, not always but usually does.

* About 5 hours of content and missions were cut in the end
* They (Rockstar) had to work more than 100h in some weeks.
* More than 700 voice actors have recorded lines for the game.
* The actor Graham Greene has a role in the game.
* 192 interactive mission soundtracks.
* Non-playable characters have at least 80-page scripts — each.
