Well i agree that most of us focus more on the signature tban on the shoe itself.... i mean its not an ugly shoe or
anything but 3 bills is pushing it... especially when peeps like me aint going to ball in them... that kinda defeat the purpose
Of the shoes... but oh well as we all know most of em are going to sell xtra welll.... i ll be patiently waiting at the outlet
Though.... i believe there is going to be a lot of steal this year....
The nxt 3 months are going to be brutal with all the upcoming releases....

Not sure if this was posted yet, but here's the official Footlocker Release Procedure.

This summer USA basketball took home the Gold Medal with a thrilling victory over Spain at the London Olympic Games. Now, Nike is commemorating the historic win by releasing the USA Gold Medal Pack, a four-pack of new releases from their newest and hottest collections including the Lebron X, Zoom KD IV, Kobe VII and Hyperdunk 2012. Each of the four sneakers will be available exclusively at all House of Hoops by Foot Locker stores starting this Saturday, September 29th. The Lebron X “Gold Medal” costs $270, the Kobe VII “Gold Medal” costs $140, the Hyperdunk 2012 “Gold Medal” costs $140 and the Zoom KD IV “Gold Medal costs $95. Below are the release procedures.

RELEASE PROCEDURES
Select House of Hoops by Foot Locker stores will hold ticket sweepstakes for customers this week for the opportunity to purchase any of the individual four Gold Medal sneaker releases this weekend. Customers can go down to one of the participating stores listed below to pick up tickets for each shoe on Thursday, September 27th. You must show a valid photo ID in order to receive any tickets. Limit one per customer per shoe. Winners will be notified by telephone on Friday, September 28th. If your local House of Hoops store is not listed below, you can contact the store to find out their specific launch procedures for these releases. My local HOH is doing a raffle for 4 different shoes:
Lebron X
Kobe VII
Hyperdunks
KD Gold

They have a set number of tix to give out (it was a lot). Once they're gone...they're gone. Winners will be called tomorrow morning. If you win any of the 4 pair, you are disqualified to win any of the others so it is a good idea to only enter for what you really want to win.

I think they will still be available for the most part a few weeks after release date. Not sure about a specific size though

If these were the sport pack hyperdunks and the sports pack hyperdunks were the lebron 10, do guys think there would be that much hype on the lebron 10? Just so we are clear I am not hating on the lebron 10 (matter of fact I feel that 2 of the colorways are very nice regular olympics and jades), however had nike went the other way and named these the hyperdunk 2012, they wouldn't get that much praise. Let's face the facts players and their names have a lot to do with the attention of the shoe. Also the fact Nike started off saying these were going to be $300 plus dollars was a smart move to generate so much attention from even people who normally could care less about shoes. Matter of fact this girls mom asked me if I was getting the new lebron's and honestly forgot all about them in regards to the release date! Lol!

in all honesty i buy like 99% signature shoes. so chances are I wouldn't buy a non lebron shoe when i have the opportunity to buy a lebron shoe.

I actually prefer the Hyperdunks 2012 because it has better color blocking, put the Zoom Max on there and it's a wrap.

Back in the Lebron IX thread, the first couple of pages, there were pics that surfaced that looked like the Hyperdunk 2012's with the exposed flywire and all, but it turns out it was the X's without the layer of fuse over it to cover it up, pretty interesting to look at what is under the surface of the fuse on those kicks. Everybody thought those were the 9 elites but it turns out they were the prototypes for the Xs, and this was back in like December of 2011.

So this leads me to believe the 11's are probably in production for samples, if not already done. Interesting to see what they will look like, thought I'd just throw that out there lol. I know, kinda random.

But what about kids who play ball and are fans of lebron and just want his shoe to go wit' they lil YMCA or youth league jersey. What parent is finna RIGHTFULLY DROP 150 on an 11 year olds foot??? But you know what... that I aint' saying too much tho cuz I see kids with Jordans on that wear a mens. So I know their parents have BEEN paying money for their shoes.

its not all about the kids when it comes to youth sizes
i know a lot of grown women, and men who wear kids size
and normally with kids sizes the shoe is missing something ... wether its an air bubble or a strap it usually looks completely different than the adults
i think nike is doing it for those people not necessarily kids, the people who want the lebrons that are on his feet that have small feet

My local HOH is doing a raffle. I've never participated in one before. Does anyone know if they just give out a certain number of tickets within the timeframe or do they give out an endless amount until the cutoff time?

From what i hear every tkt they give out staff put in 2 of their own - that would explain how some people (staff) get so "lucky".....

the hype is huge, most hype i have ever seen here

soccermoms and dads everywhere getting raffle tix, 15 year old swag kids skipping school.....

oh and my HoH said they are supposed to get all 4 shoes but as of today they only have received the Brons.....

basically i have no shot at copping any of the shoes, and i would be happy with any 1 of them

Why is it that we pay so much for some shoes that we're only gonna rock about 2-5 in a year??? LOL...I've had my Cool Grey XI's since 2010 Christmas and I've only worn them about 15x's max...and that's in a almost full 2yr span...
