Should UnicornHunter’s faithful card be revoked for his blasphemous Patrick Willis comments?

Now that we can close the door on 2024, here is my evaluation for 2025:

Coaches: Shanahhan needs a reality check of his personnel. Hire a OC and new DC. Sorrensen needs to go since he proved he has no command of the defensive troops. Find someone like Saleh or Ryans that builds its foundation in the trenches. Is Saleh possibly available to come back?

Offense: Agree on a team friendly deal with Purdy (assuming healthy) that can bring in some key players. Sign Kirk Cousins as a backup (under no circumstances should he start) and have Dobbs compete with him for #2. McCaffrey, Mason, Gurrendo need a strong rotation to keep fresh. Receivers rotation; Aiyuk, Persall, Jennings, and Kittle. O-Line needs major retool of rookies or key free agents. Unfortunately I think Juszczyk/Deebo is gone.

Defense: D-Line needs a major retool outside of Bosa with key free agents. Keep Warner and Greenlaw. Secondary will need some retooling. Unfortunately I think Ward and Huf will need to go but find some key players in the market.

Special Teams: Moody better not be on this team next year.

Juice took a paycut and Deebo doesnt have a big cap hit so I doubt they're gone.

As far as defense, secondary is the strongest group. Need Dline and linebackers.

I think it's not just a matter of salary but you're also at the mercy of the 53 man roster. If you have someone that isn't producing, it is taking up precious space for another position that you might need depth in. Kyle really needs to think about his offensive strategy in 2025 and see how Deebo/Juice can play a critical role in high production if he intends on keeping them.

Could only watch the early part last night. Not surprised at the L. 1 more and it’s time to start over.

In disbelief when I think about how this season went. Injuries hit us like a runaway train, but 7 wins max is crazy.

There was some stat that said going into the regular season, the 49ers had a 78% chance of making the playoffs.

They missed the playoffs by a mile.

The blame imo is primarily on Kyle Shanahan and his coaching staff.

They actually showed it in the postgame yesterday. We were top 4 along with KC, the Lions, and the Eagles and of course, we were the only team to not get in.

We shouldn’t be surprised giving up 40 points and expecting to win. I heard the 49ers are 1-36, when the D gives up that many points. The only win was against the Saints w Shanny as coach.

The Oline should be priority, trade Aaron banks, and look for a new center, a veteran. Then running backs, we might need a vet backup to challenge Guerendo. Defense and a new kicker, and coaches will follow.

Well actually a new d fence coordinator should be first.

Man the FO has a lot of work ahead of them.

I’m already looking at the draft as the next football milestone I look forward to.

Interesting to see if we get a top 10 pick. We’re currently sitting at 11.

It’d be a nice get to draft Mason Graham from Michigan to shore up the middle of our DL
