i hope we address edge rusher in the first three rounds. we can't go into the season with a 33-year-old ahmad brooks, obese lynch, and the dimwits tank and eli.

The Cleveland Browns remain likely to select Myles Garrett with the first overall pick.

The Browns haven't announced the pick and also like Mitch Trubisky. Cleveland has continued to try to trade up into the top-8 with Trubisky believed to be the target.

Sashi Brown told NFL Network's Mike Silver on Wednesday that he's known the pick for two weeks.

"You want to make sure that you get a player (at No. 1) that's going to be an impact player and that we can count on,'' Brown told ESPN.

Adam Schefter said on Wednesday that he wouldn't be surprised if Garrett is still the first player off the board, but "I have got very smart, very well-connected people telling me over the last 24 hours that they think Trubisky's going to be the No. 1 pick."

I'm guessing I missed the scouting report on Jamal Adams in here but can y'all refresh me on why most of you guys favor Adams over Malik Hooker. I feel Hooker is way more dynamic than Adams. True ball hawk with crazy range with the measurables to boot. Reminds me so much of Ed Reed.

For me it's strictly about his commitment to the game. And off-season surgeries taking on damaged goods sucks for Niner fans cuz we've done it a lot recently.

Latest news is Panthers want him at #8 and Chargers want him at #4. Trading back with the intent of getting him at a lower pick is not likely to happen.
