:lol Some of y'all need to get it through your thick *** skulls, Phil ain't coaching again

Let that **** go :{

Yup.

Best you can hope for with Phil is him taking a Pat Riley type role as president of a team or something to the effect.

Buss the owner, Phil the president, Mitch the GM, that could be in play if Jim and Jeanie get on the same page at some point.

Getting Lebron is a dream, Melo is a serious possibility imo
Yeah I believe Melo would welcome playing with Kobe and winning a ring. Contrary to what some may believe, Melo and Kobe could coexist quite nicely. I think Melo is as the point in his career where he wants to win rings.

LeBron has doesn't need LA so I doubt he comes here. He's either staying in Miami or going back to Cleveland imo.

So mitch is getting all these guys cause they into pringles' system. At least he is doing his best to unintentionally tank. It is gonna be good watching these dudes play zero defense and pretend that they are lethal 3 point shooters on fast breaks.

hire phil jackson then dangle him infront of lebron. lebron a bandwagon fan of all the past top sports teams including bulls.

should be enough hahahaha
never saw this angle. i see it though, i see it.

i think melo can coexist better with kobe than lebron would. didnt kobe and melo have a bro-mance during the olympics. they bonded and got to know each other. i remember when melo was in talks to be traded, kobe came to his defense when asked about those trade rumor questions.

they all could co-exist if they acknowledge that its now lebrons team.

it would be like the olympics, lebron as main facilitator/creator, melo as main scorer, kobe in supporting role.

Buss said Howard's decision will not set the Lakers back for long and the focus has quickly shifted toward making a big splash in free agency next summer.

"When we traded for him, we basically knew we were renting him for a year," Buss said. "We were prepared. [Lakers general manager] Mitch [Kupchak] and I, we had quite a few meetings. If he leaves, this is what's going to happen, this is what we're going to do, and if he stays, this is what's going to happen, this is what we're going to do. It's not like I didn't want him to stay, but we were very prepared, so it wasn't a shock to our system or the Lakers' fans or the Lakers' organization that if he left, he would put us in a bad spot. We were OK either way, because we prepared for it."

With or without Dwight, the plan has always been about 2014 right? 8o

Correct.

Hence me being pissed off at everyone sky is falling, no plan, we suck forever type **** after he bounced. :lol

Guys like Jim and Mitch always have plans and backup plans, and backup backup plans in place. I coulda swore they'd proven that over the years, but apparently it's what have you done for me lately that matters in the "big picture"

The plans for 2014 have been in the works since 2009-2010 when MWP, Pau, Kobe, Blake and Fish were signed/extended in a 12 month window.
