Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

My dude how you never seen Bambi? :lol :{

I haven't watched a lot of animated films myself lately but damn. You aint watch classics when you were a kid. What were you watching as a child? The discovery channel?

I watched a lot of kids movies that weren't cartoons, like Indian In The Cupboard-type stuff, Jumanji, etc. I had Toy Story, Lion King, Little Mermaid, Aladdin and several of the other exceptions to my 'haven't seen' list in the roto and watched those... I can't even tell you how many times. A lot of Arthur, Scooby Doo, Rugrats, Zoboomafoo, Rocket Power, Reading Rainbow, Dragon Tales, Power Rangers, Recess, etc.

Then as I got older I began to transition into decade-old Saved By The Bell and Diff'rent Strokes episodes, etc.
Oh okay. I'm with you on that transition cuz I watched all of those same things but I also somehow made time to watch a lot of the stuff on your list.

Do they show more of the hot, pregnant, Swedish wife who liked to get tied up and gagged?

Last episode I watched was when he was going through drug withdrawals. The show is good but hasn't caught my interest like it has everyone else.

I think i'll finally catch up on mr robot episodes tomorrow then sleep for like 10 hours. Gotta wake up at like 4-5 am on Saturday and drive 12 hours to Buffalo.

Cats been trying to hip me to Mr Robot and now i see the chatter in here about it, so i guess it's a must i watch it. Season finale next week, so hopefully they air some sort of marathon so i can dvr em.

It's worth it, for sure. It's got a few rough patches like any show in it's 1st season, but it's a hell of a ride so far.

My Pixar "marathon" was only supposed to be a couple of movies on my day off, but now it's extended to whenever I'm home

Knocked out Toy Story 2 before work today and finished up Finding Nemo right now. Toy Story 3 might bring everything home so perfectly and done so well, but damn.. it's emotionally draining a bit.. which makes me kind of like the 2nd one a little better. You don't have the weight of the trilogy and the finality of everything like you do with 3.

And yes... I put on Wall-E to fall asleep to tonight. The 1st act is so amazing, man. I can't help it.

Watching wall-e now.. They really need to do a psychoanalysis on eve

I'm just 30 mins in, but Eve was cold as soon as she arrived.. Any hint of movement and she quick to pull the trigger.. Maybe some abandonment issues?

And this dude Andrew Stanton did wall-e and finding Nemo.. Was a writer on all the toy story movies.. Where the hell did he go wrong on John carter??

Man. So severely disappointed. Sinister 2 is sitting at 4%. The first film wasn't that highly rater either (60% or so), but still, 4% is putrid.

Will be skipping it.

I'm confused on all the scary movies and which are which.

It seems every scary movie for the last 5 years has been called Sinister.

Insidious, Sinister, Conjuring, Annabelle, Jessabelle, Occulus, Awakening, Revenant.

I get them all confused

Since I'm guessing you haven't seen them either, I suggest you add the following to your list:

Monster House
Coraline
Paranorman

All animated, but a little a-typical because they involve creepy subject matter. But all very well done. I'd say Coraline is the best of all of them, but I like Monster House a lot too.
