Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

The show is about much more than a slap to the face of a kid who needed a slap to the face.
This is good stuff man.

Sidenote: Nevermind

I would wife Melissa George. First saw her on the hbo show In Treatment.

Anyone watch the movie, Dark Places? I'll try to watch it this week. Surprised it hasn't gotten any attention at all. It's another book by Gillian Flynn who wrote Gone Girl and stars Charlize Theron.

Melissa George should be in more stuff. I really like her soft spoken sexiness.

I still need to get around to watch her series Hunted and the follow up.

I loved Hunted. Wish there was a new season but sounds like it'll be in development forever. Would be good for it to be back since Strike Back is done and Banshee is going into its final season so Cinemax needs stuff.

I watched Pitch Perfect 2 this weekend. I was distracted but it wasnt as good. Gonna watch it again this weekend though

Yeah, it wasn't great.. but not bad. The first one was a surprise hit and when they tried to replicate that.. it fell short.

Still fun to see everyone again, but definitely not the same.

it makes perfect sense

So just got around to watching the pilot episode of Fear the Walking Dead........and I have mixed reviews in 2 extremes.

It's got a VERY different vibe than TWD. The acting is SO bad. The teen angst is pretty god awful also. There are times when the show was brilliant, and there were times when I was scratching my head wondering who's idea it was to put that in the show, then that person should be fired.

The pacing was excellent. The cinematography was top notch, and it's very refreshing to be out of the boring *** woods of Atlanta for a change. The show had me on the edge of my seat pretty much the whole time but I'm worried about what they will do from here. I really wish this show would focus more on the unanswered questions from TWD and less about the human struggle aspect of it all. I mean by now WE GET IT. Man will survive against all odds, just tell me where the god damn virus or whatever comes from already. If this turns out to be TWD with 10X the teen angst/ CAAARRRRLLLLL crying all day, I'll pass on this show with the quickness.

Sidenote: watching that kid walk around all strung out on drugs was super funny to me for some reason. I mean I know they are trying to make him look and seem Zombie-ish, but it had a comical Shaun of the Dead vibe to it. All incoherent rambling asside, I thought the episode was very interesting, it's a cool refreshing angle that they're showing us, some acting was really bad, solid pilot overall. 8.1/10

From everything I've read... and I've read a lot... there is no intention to reveal the etiology of zombifying.

Cause, crossovers, cures; don't hold your breath waiting for them in FTWD.

By crossovers, I mean characters from TWD.

ugh watched insurgent today, i knew it was going to be bad but what a terrible movie overall. the acting, plotholes, overall storyline was ugh

. i know divergent wasn't anything great but i enjoyed it for what it was. now i don't even want to watch the last one, which i just heard read breaking into two parts

Um yeah, :lol If you're watching TWD or FTWD just know you'll never get an answer for how this started and there's apparently no answer to how to stop it either. This is the new normal.

Same goes for the comics. At this point I doubt Kirkman could come up with a satisfying answer.

I do. Without a ranked contender, what this fight is gonna need is a novelty. This is the land of opportunity, right?

So Apollo Creed, on January 1st, gives a local underdog fighter an opportunity. A snow-white underdog, and I'm gonna to put his face on this poster with me.

And I'll tell you why. Because I'm sentimental. A lot of other people in this country are just as sentimental and there's nothing they'd like better than to see Apollo Creed give a local Philadelphia boy a shot at the greatest title in the world on this country's biggest birthday.

Now that's the way I see it, and that's the way it's gonna be.

There's a Macbeth movie with Michael Fassbender and I'm just now learning about it... ..!?

They need to release this in America like now

I do want to see a GTA movie though.

And one where it's clear the person isn't even really following the story line of the game, just running around doing their own thing, stealing, running from the cops/FEDs, and killing ppl :lol

^ Now that I could mess with. I would want them to base it on one of the characters though, so it'll set it apart from just another crime movie with the added GTA title.
