Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

POTC 5 is completely skipable.. probably definitely better than part 4, maybe better than part 3 too

But it was kinda sad.. jack always played the fool to sucker people into his plans so you always got the "worst pirate..." then the "best pirate.."

This was just sad.. dude was the bumbling dude and if anything happened, it was by luck

Also can't believe this was under the Disney umbrella, the CG was just off

Double toasted guys were right on it, for those who have seen their review on it

Seeing this makes you appreciate what they are able to do with the FF franchise

Fincher is one of the very best. That is all.

Of living directors

Fincher-Tarantino-Nolan make a movie, I'm automatically in

I'm in on pretty much all Scorsese movies

Allllll of this. Spielberg used to be there but his last few movies have made me at least wait until reviews come out. I dunno, maybe the adventures of rin tin tin was the last good one? Bridge of spies maybe?

I keep it simple, look at the movies those guys have pulled off.. and then think who else would be able to pull it off

Should be the simple standard for best director award

did you see the one with that nutcase that confronted the NASA dude in starbucks?
:rollin
No, but it sounds hilarious.

@Uptempo kid
I don't know if it's BOB Flat Earth, don't know the reference, but Flat Earth man, like the Earth is flat not round they lied to us Flat Earth, that Flat Earth.

And of course the NT thread about it.

I'm going to have to check that out for sure Kid.

I tell you what man, I've been around the block and like to think I'm pretty logical, not gullible, and that I have sound judgement and reasoning, but I'm beginning to wonder about this whole Flat vs Round ordeal.

I mean, there's this cat name Eric Dubay and he (the video I'm in the middle of, and I've seen 10+ videos now) has this 2hr long video where he just lists reason after reason after reason why the Earth can't be round.

It's over 200reasons, b2b2b2b etc, I'm on like  reason number 59., and they are all head scratching good *** reasons, based on logic and reason and Math and Sceince.

I feel so dumb watching them, but I'm like man, he's making too much Sense

There's always good points or a someone convincing enough to make you think he's making good points.

I think the Earth is round.

The one thing I hate about Conspiracy Theories is when you ask for proof, they straight get paranoid and super delusional

Oh I totally agree, especially coming from a sales background. I could sell you a $100 plastic hanger if you listen to me long enough but, there's a difference between being sold or convinced by someone and them simply saying 1+1=2 now you decide if it's 2 or 3.

Of course I know it's 2, I choose 2.
If you tell me it's 3, I don't care how convincing you are, I know it's 2.

Flat vs Round, man I know Round is 1+1 =2, but the Math is bad now, it isn't really adding up like it used to.

Saw Baywatch last night. 2/8 - Its really bad. The jokes are lazy. The Rock even exits the movie for a solid 10 minutes. Don't waste your money or your time.

Damn :( not that I was in a rush to see it but was at least hoping for 21 Jump Street-type vibes.

watched snatched last week. took me 4 days to finish cause i kept turning it off. i'm not familiar with her work but amy schumer is unfunnier than i would have imagined given the amount of press she seems to have gotten. i give it a 1.3/8

alien covenant 7.5/10
excellent sequel but slightly repetitive from prometheus

baywatch 7/10
pretty typical cop like flick but enjoyable partially because it's so reminiscent of typical cop flicks

pirates , no tales 8/10
if I remember the last one this definitely picked up better than the last and earns additional points for a proper finale to the franchise.

Damn famb 1.3?! That's gotta be the lowest score I've seen on here. Which makes me think........

What are everyone's bottom 3 rated movies of all time? It's tough because I can generally give some points for SOMETHING. Like suicide squad was straight garbage, but I'll still give it a few points for some visuals and some cool fresh prince dialogue. But the lowest of the low:

Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow: 1.9/8

The Happening: 2.2/8

Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull: 3.2/8

The terrible baywatch reviews on the internet are doing little to discourage me. I think I need to see this.

I feel you.

Though I am getting tired of Zach's comedy. I feel like I've heard everything he has to say.

Why does he never host SNL?

M. Night's films would probably make up my whole bottom 3

Just came from seeing Baywatch.... I'm mad I spent money on that. I just wanted to spend some time with my family :lol :{

I understand they were going for a self aware parody but, even the more serious parts were mad cringe and cheesy.

It also didn't help that I've been watching Honest Trailers and CinemaSins lately. I noticed EVERYTHING wrong lol....like how do you get shot, and have no wound.

Should have let 21 jump street guys do it, who also did the lego movie..

Looked up what else the horrible bosses guy has done, should have kinda and been expected

sky captain was pretty bad :lol
indy crystal skull was not bad until it completely imploded at the end. that was a horrible ending :x

halle berry catwoman was super trash.

it's funny because just last night, i happened to be looking at the list of all the movies that scored 0 on rotten tomatoes. i've seen a few of them (like joe dirt 2) and interestingly enough, it's pat - the movie (based on an snl character) had tarantino listed as an uncredited writer on the screenplay (not sure if that's really true). of the movies i saw on that list, none were good.

Don't think I've watched sky captain all the way through..

Unfortunately I paid to watch indy4
