Watched "The Color of Money" for the first time a couple nights ago (Newman, Cruise). Aren't we on the path of getting a Tom Cruise-teaches-an-immature-character-the-ropes re-reboot in the next decade? Feels imminent; a rehash or sequel I wouldn't mind.

Keanu's over acting in that film is incredible. I can't recall any other film where he's remotely close to that.

Watched the Big Sick last night. I loved it. 7.5/8. Kumail flourishes and does an amazing job delivering both sides of comedy and drama. I mean everyone is great. The movie is pretty fast paced too, despite being like 2 hours long. Only negative thing i have to say, is that it hit a little close to home in some scenes. Both good/happy scenes and bad/sad ones had me in my feels; if you just had a relationship end, this movie won't help you feel better about your life. Which, I suppose, speaks to the authenticity of the writing and directing. Best romcom I've seen in a long time.
