Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Watching The Big Sick now... it's excellent and I'm happy to see Kumail Nanjiani doing well and this movie getting the recognition and success.
how emotional is this movie? don't really feel like crying at my desk here at work. i have my own office but people come in and out all the time.

i didnt want to see this **** but did. really good movie. you will be good so long as you dont cry easily and just know its based on a true story and it truly is a happy ending story

I missed info about this until I "seent" the trailer today... Looks good. I also forgot to mention I liked Logan Lucky in my earlier post.

Not the biggest fan of The Godfather Epic honestly. The young Vito scenes dont flow as well when they are all cut together. Also, the juxtaposition between young VIto and Michael is crucial in Godfather 2.

Caught the pilot of happy and it's insane. It's like a twisted sequel of law and order SVU mixed with Crank and some weird sci fi ****.

 As expected. The comic was out there but the show seems to be better.

The Orville season finale was pretty good. Quintessential Stark Trek **** but with way more human mistakes

When I initially saw it, I didn't like John Wick 2 as much as I did the first one. JW2 was still service-ably entertaining though.

It's been on cable lately & I keep getting caught up watching it. I've grown to like it more after having viewed it several more times. I hate that Wick excommunicado from the Continental bcs of that rat b$st@rd Santino. :smh: He deserved to get shot right then & there... Them duck fat fries looked so good doe...

My favorite scene... The "sommelier" seemed to enjoy his role.

JW is like if the hitman game to movie was actually a success. unless someone has seen it and can vouch for it. I haven't seen it

Just watched bronx tale. 5/5 Loved it.
Y'all have any related movie reccomendations?
Recommendation doesn't have to be mafia related, just looking for a good story film.
I've seen goodfellas, donnie drasco, carlito's way,
I've not seen godfather, caSINO,

Also:

The Town
The Untouchables
Gone Baby Gone
Road to Perdition

My wife and I watched Girls Trip last night. 2.9/8

She finished the movie, but I didn't.

Music was the only redeeming quality of the flick. Enjoyed snippets of NE, Maxwell, and Puffy/Mase...

As far as the film itself....tired/played plot. Tired/played characters...

Finally watching that Pac movie. It jumps around so much from scene to scene with poor continuity I'm wondering if I'm watching a bad copy.

One of the best shows I watched this year was The Crown, on NETFLIX

Now, I'm not particularly fond on the Queen, but this show tells a Great story imo.
I was glued.
Watched it in one sitting and called in the next day because I was spent.

Season2 started yesterday.
Time to get spent.
