I can’t remember a single scene from this movie. This poster instantly pops up in my mind when I hear the name though.

I only remember this banger:

Ghetto Supastar…that is what you are.🎵

Never even seen the movie but I did have the soundtrack.

And I agree with you. Cool poster. Strange, but cool.

Also, TIL: It’s Bulworth, Not Bullworth. One L.

Song was my Jam in 1998.

What do you mean by this?
I felt endangered watching it.
Like ZODIAC could get me if he wanted.
Knowing ZODIAC (at the time of initial and latter viewings) had never been caught really creeped me out.
It really stuck with me for some reason.
Fincher being Fincher immerses you in the Atmosphere of whatever Story he tells, and this one had me shook.

I'd say my last viewing wasn't much better, it was Xmas last year when I watched it with a Lady and this viewing came after they actually decided they knew who ZODIAC was (Gary Francis Poste). They'd never caught him and by the time they figured/deduced that Gary was Zodiac that fool had passed away.
Dude was exMilitary and a FlyByNight Painter, and knowing he was just serving his Country and Painting neighbors houses by day, and racking up Bodies by night, pretty Heavy **** man.

That's dope. That means it was very effective. One of the reasons I'm so fond of it. You can feel it.

ZODIAC was like a real life Mr Brooks.
If you've ever seen Mr. Brooks, you'd know he was never going to get caught.
He could've killed from Birth to Death.

The Gary Poste guy had a team of Killers he'd trained over time and/or served with.
I mean, he could've been knocking of Bodies for the CIA and MI6 and for his own thrills outside of the Money and a Job.
Interesting Serialer for sure.

My horror Autumn begins now!

Cabin Fever (2002)

This is how those teachers back in the early days must've described STDs. Even think about the opposite sex, and it's gonna getcha! I'll admit that the movie is solid; very solid. But the people on Reddit rave about it like it's 1978 Halloween or something

Things that are gay (per Cabin Fever):
1. Renting a cabin
2. Squirrels
3. Telling a girl that you like her and want to go on a date 😤

I have a free Apocalypse Now 4k digital code for any regular that will actually use it. Let me know who wants it and I'll send the code when I get home tonight

One of my fav scenes from Belly. Very Spike Lee-Esque.

The scene is almost word for word from the 3rd verse of One Love from nas’ illmatic album. Makes me wonder how many more scenes from this movie were just direct rap verses put to film.

So I comes back home, nobody's out but Shorty Doo-Wop
Rollin' two phillies together, in the Bridge we call 'em "oo-wops"
He said: "Nas, ****** caught me bustin' off the roof
So I wear a bulletproof and pack a black tre-deuce."
He inhaled so deep, shut his eyes like he was sleep
Started coughin', one eye peeked to watch me speak

I sat back like The Mack, my army suit was black
We was chillin' on these benches
Where he pumped his loose cracks

I took the L when he passed it, this little bastard
Keeps me blasted and starts talkin' mad ****
I had to school him, told him don't let ****** fool him
‘Cause when the pistol blows
The one that's murdered be the cool one
Tough luck when ****** are struck, families ****** up
Coulda caught your man, but didn't look when you bucked up
Mistakes happen, so take heed, never bust up
At the crowd, catch him solo, make the right man bleed
Shorty's laugh was cold-blooded as he spoke so foul
Only 12, tryin' to tell me that he liked my style
Then I rose, wipin' the blunt's ash from my clothes
Then froze, only to blow the herb smoke through my nose
And told my little man I'ma ghost, I broze

Left some jewels in his skull that he can sell if he chose
Words of wisdom from Nas: try to rise up above
Keep an eye out for Jake, Shorty Wop, one love
