Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Watching the doc on the making of we are the world. Dope seeing a little part of history. My favorite part so far was the part where they're talking about the Dylan solo. Dylan can't sing and is a nervous wreck about trying to compete with all the singers in the room, on top of having anxiety just because there's 70 people in the room.

He can't figure out how to sing his part so he takes a break and calls Stevie Wonder over for help. Stevie can mimic the singing style of every artist in the room. He sits downs starts playing it on the piano and starts singing as Bob Dylan to help him figure out how to do it. It was 😮🔥
My other favorite part was when Stevie was trying to make them all sing a verse in Swahili, and the country singer Waylon Jennings was like naw f that a country boy is not singing in Swahili and left 😂😂. Overall good doc, it was only one episode. One of the few times they got length right, wasn't some 10 part series or something. I do wish I could have gotten a maybe another hour though I wasn't ready for it to end, I love a good peek behind the scenes of something.

I'm sure Bruce Lee wouldn't care. It was a funny scene and no one would watch it and think less of Bruce Lee.
Bruce’s daughter didn’t like it and most of the reactions i’ve seen from people are negative. I’ll watch the movie eventually.

The whole scene revolved around Bruce Lee on a movie set saying he could take Muhammad Ali in a fight, and stunt actor Brad Pitt thought it was funny and they had a fight between the two of them. It’s not close to offensive.

What action movie has the best on screen romance between leads? Without looking it up, i have a tentative top 3.

1. Daniel Craig and Eva in Casino royal

This ranks with the top in ANY film. Let alone an action film.

2. Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz in the Mummy films.
They just vibe off each other so well. Even though they’re not being overly affectionate the entire time, something just fits so well about them.

3. Brad and Angelina in Mr and Mrs Smith. It was the exact perfect time in both their lives to make this movie chemistry work so well. Movie was kinda mediocre but their on screen relationship was fascinating to watch, considering the circumstances.

Honorable mentions:

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes in Place Beyond the Pines. He wasn’t REALLY the lead so it technically doesnt count. But god damn they couldn’t hide their real love. Got married because of it.

Out of Sight with Clooney and J Lo really stood out for me

Brangelina (couple nicknames are dumb) but doesn’t that have to take the prize? There was some random but a lot of weird good chemistry going on between Keanu and Sandy.

Watch the THRILLER40 doc then.
Next to the KANYE doc, it’s probably the best thing I’ve ever seen.

Seeing things in real time that were shot filmed and happened 20-40years ago, when I was alive and growing……:just amazing.

Thriller40 is something else.

The MOTOWN joint was also 8/8

Started the 23 goosebumps show. Not too bad. Not scary at all, but the story moves pretty cool. It’s got different interpretations of the stories. I don’t think the mask got its justice. Well at least until where I got to.

It’s in the realm of Cobra Kai, Chucky, where it doesn’t take itself serious at all

Overall a nice lil 10 episode watch.
