Ska, The Wire is a must watch. Simply brilliant.
Since Breaking Bad has become the topic of conversation the last few pages I looked it up on Wikipedia and
at Hal from Malcolm in the Middle being the main character.
Breaking Bad seems to universally loved liked The Wire was, gonna have to check it out.

I'd strongly recommend it toine... besides being a terrific show, at least if you watch it you can participate in the eventual (and some current) conversations about "Breaking Bad > Wire, Sopranos, etc."

Got through Breaking Bad on Netflix (seasons 1-3 in a week)...great show....but not as good as The Wire. That show was a game-changer.

I tend to go through shows in large chunks... I've caught up on whole series over the course of a week before. If you figure instead of watching a movie, watch 2 episodes of X show, you can make decent progress.
You should stop watching Dexter and watch one of those three superior shows.
