Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

I just saw a commercial for a recent Nic Cage movie that - huge surprise - I never heard of before  Tommy Chong is in it too. I might peep.
Ahh Color Out of Space. Movie was super bizarre. It's slightly entertaining the first half but then gets weird after that. If you're into scifi apocalyptic type movies you may enjoy.

Threw on Social Network last night just to watch the masterful opening scenes in the bar and the night campus opening credits scene. Ended up watching the whole god damn movie and only got like 4 hours sleep.

The movie is too damn good man. Sorkin is a genius scriptwriter. They really made an entertaining movie out of nothing. Add Reznor score, and of course Fincher gawd at the helm and you got a classic. Tough matchup against the other best picture nominees that year.

I'm plowing thru The Office cuz, yea, and most eps are ho hum, but the EP where Roy tries to punch Jim has me ****ing crying.

Are you wearing women's clothes?
Lookin like Hillary Clinton....

Roy had a sock full of nickels then Dwight pulled out his hairspray and a lighter.....

Bring Toby....I'd rather kill myself....

6% raise, no, I want more or no more sex.....what are you writing Toby? Just prepping for the deposition.

If there was a way to watch a movie for the first time today, like if the Men In Black flashy thing were real, what movies would you want to re-watch?

Friday- As a 35 year old, and how my humor has evolved, I'd love this movie if I were able to watch it fresh.

The Matrix

The 6th Sense- just to experience that twist again

Dark Knight
There Will Be Blood

Primal Fear, The Usual Suspects would be two other good ones.
Casino was a huge theater favorite of mine as a kid.
The Empire Strikes Back would be :wow:
Fight Club

Name some movies yall didnt mention but Primal Fear, The Matrix, Fight Club, and There Will Be Blood are all instantly there.

The Prestige
Pulp Fiction
Reservoir Dogs
Seven
Die Hard with A Vengeance
Unbreakable
Any Jackie Chan movie
Groundhogs Day
Rope
The Godfather Saga (1 & 2 chronologically)
The entire MCU (no doubt this would make me cry given in this scenario I've never seen them!)

With all that said, with the extra time on everybody's hands I think we should knock out that all time TV draft.

What say you C CP1708 ? :nerd:

Terminator 2
The Departed
Kill Bill 1&2
The Fugitive
Fargo

Resident Evil 4/8 - The acting and cinematography stood out as pretty bad but I didn't hate it. Remembered this being a lot worse.

The Platform 5/8 - Interesting concept but weak ending. Perfect Netflix movie though.

Resident Evil: Apocalypse 3.25/8 - The sequel goes off the rails a little bit. Nemesis looks ridiculous. The acting is worse. Mike Epps had me dying "GTA MFers!"

"excuse me sir...seems like my seat belt is broken...what do you recommend I do??"
