[h1]Osama Bin Laden Dead, Al Qaeda Confirms [/h1]
CAIRO — Al-Qaida on Friday confirmed the killing of Osama bin Laden and warned of retaliation, saying Americans' "happiness will turn to sadness."
The confirmation came in an Internet statement posted on militant websites, signed by "the general leadership" of al-Qaida. The announcement opens the way for the group to name a successor to bin Laden. His deputy Ayman al-Zawahri is now the most prominent figure in the group and is a very likely contender to take his place.
The statement, dated May 3, was the first by the terror network since bin Laden was killed Monday by U.S. commandos in a raid on his hideout in Abbottabad, Pakistan. The statement's authenticity could not be independently confirmed, but it was posted on websites where the group traditionally puts out its messages.
"The blood of the holy warrior sheik, Osama bin Laden, God bless him, is too precious to us and to all Muslims to go in vain," the statement said. "We will remain, God willing, a curse chasing the Americans and their agents, following them outside and inside their countries."
"Soon, God willing, their happiness will turn to sadness," it said, "their blood will be mingled with their tears."
There was no indication how the group will retaliate. Rather than making vehement cries of vengeance, the statement – entitled "You lived as a good man, you died as a martyr" – struck a tone of calmness and continuation. Though it included praise of bin Laden, much of the 11-paragraph statement was dedicated to underlining that al-Qaida would live on, depicting him as just another in a line of "martyrs" from the group.
"It is impossible, impossible. Sheik Osama didn't build an organization to die when he dies," the statement read. "The university of faith, Quran and jihad from which bin Laden graduated will not close its doors," it added.
"The soldiers of Islam will continue in groups and united, plotting and planning without getting bored, tired, with determination, without giving up until striking a blow," the statement.
It said bin Laden was killed "along an established path followed by the best of those who came before him and those who will come after him."

In the statement, al-Qaida also called on Pakistanis to rise up in revolt against its leaders to "cleanse the shame." It also said that an audio message bin Laden recorded a week before his death would be issued soon.
The writers of the statement appeared unaware of the announcement by American officials that bin Laden's body had been buried at sea. The statement warned against mishandling or mistreating bin Laden's body and demanded that be handed over to his family, saying "any harm (to the body) will open more doors of evil, and there will be no one to blame but yourselves."

So it seems as if Al - Qaeda has comfirmed that their Leader Osama Bin Laden is indeed dead. I don't like to hate no one or anything but I really HATE Al Qaeda because the hate the US. THey are threating us saying our Happiness will turn to sadness. I mean just re - read these statements..

These are open threats by Al - Quada to continue their war against Americans. THey've already done enough to us and we didnt deserve it.
THe worst being on September 11th 2001 where completely innocent people lost their lives. I'll never forget that day. I was in social Studiies class in the 7th grade in an NYC Middle School when all of a sudden the teacher got phone calls saying kids are going home, and some moms are picking them up. I'm like %!#'s happening schools out GREAT! But then I realized why after the teacher announced theres been a terrorist attack on the Twin Towers and moms are picking up their kids to go home because they don't know where is going to be attacked next or if the shool building is going to be hit or something.Even though I was in thee Bronx it WAS an attack on New York and People had no idea where would be hit next potentially and there was A LOT of panicing and nervousness and confusion , the main thing being who attacked us and why. So next thing you know I hear the sounds of PLanes and i'm like O $+$+ and everyone is just ducking under the desk thinking were going to be hit but then we( my classmates, I, and the teacher) realized they were just US Air Fighters in the sky.
I remember coming home turning on the news to hear 3,000 + people including firefighter and police officers were killed. And the pictures and video images i'll never forget. People running around around crying their faces and body completely covered in dust, people choking, panicing everywhere and worst of all this constant video on the TV repeating showing the Towers coming down, also the towers burning and people being forced to jump out of a 100+ story building falling to their deaths. I mean that was Completely unnesscary what those terrorists did to us that day. There were innocent kids , men and women, officers firefighters who lost their lives that day for no reason at all. 300 + firefighters while giving their best effort to bring people to safety and evacuate people brom the burning bulidings. We've done nothing to to these terrorists for them to do what they did. THey just hate our way of live for no reason. People who were working hard to make a living to provide for themselves and their families were killed senselessly. People who worked at the clean up site in the aftermath developed serious illnesses also resulting in their deaths. All of this because of Al Queda, & yet the still want to attack us. I've searced for beheading videos on google i've seen americans who went to Iraq to tey to make peace after the US invaded Iraq i n 2002 get abducted , & then have their heads cut off. When they caught that S.O.B. BIn Laden they should have kept him alive tied him up and cut his head off and help it up to the camera the same way the Pakistan poeple have done to a lot of americans after abducting them in Iraq. One of the most famous beheading videos is that of "Nike Berg" who was a US american captured in iraq and then had his head cut off and help up to the camera ina very disrespectful manner at the hands of the Pakistan terrorists. Well anyway they have done a lot of damage to us americans and I dont see World Peace ever happening especially hile AL Qaeda still exists. Sometimes I wonder why god hasnt yet hit Pakistan with a deadly earthquake that destroys their entire country and kills the majurity of the people in that country. WHy couldnt it be Pakistan or Saudi - Arabia or Afghanistan to get hit recently with that EarthQuake why did it have to be Japan?In my opinion if AL Qaeda EVER attacks the United States again in any way I say the US should drop the biggest Nuke Bomb ever to be created on Both Afghanistan and Pakistan. It would be the only way to protect us from furture attacks by these terrorists because apparently they still have hatred towards us and they still want to attack us . Eff making peace the US should just destory Pakistan COmpletely. Bomb the entire Country with a Nuke bobm after all US soilders have been evacuated form there. They didnt care who died when they bombed the Trade Center so the US should Nuke Bomb them and not care about who dies in that country to give them a taste of their own medicine.
I will not be scared or Intimidated by these recent Al Qaeda Threats. I'll continue to to live life without fearing those cowards. No matter how happy we try to be they are always going to try to bring us down. They are worthless scums . THey are evil people who's only purpose of existence is to try to bing us down and destroy Americas way of life and happiness. THey just want to kill innocent people to express their hatred towards america, I dont understand why we havent nuke bombed them yet. May all the victims of 9/11/2001 rest in peace and may their families finally feel justice is done now that Osama is dead.
And I wonder why Al Qaeda whats Bin Laden's body so badly? Maybe they love him so much they want to molest his dead body?WHo knows if thats the case but one things for sure Bin Laden is indeed dead and those who follow his footsteps and attempt another attack will suffer the same fate.
