No confirmationt, because the Legendary Birds aren't available to be captured yet. Mew and Mewtwo are also unavailable to capture. I imagine Niantic will have some sort of event for the Birds.

To use the special attack you tap and hold, provided you have the bar for it.

One tap for normal attack

Press and Hold for Special. But bar has to be full

I took mine to the park and noticed a lot of other dads out with their kids catching Pokemon.


Only downside is that my phone gets hijacked by 'em. [emoji]128514[/emoji]


It's surreal honestly seeing the amount of people at the park. Also kind've annoying because we regularly frequent different parks in the neighborhood and since the game has dropped there's been like a 2000% increase in the number of people out there.

Saw a dude in Ash Ketchum cosplay, i cringed.

Caught a primeape
And it was a weird glitched area in Walmart
Wasn't a Lure set it was these flashing yellow lights on the map
And Pokemon that weren't on the map would randomly pop up

We need more details

What level is he/she? Was this during the day or night? Were they at or near a Poke stop? Did he catch by himself or were other trainers around?

If you're with a group of people in different ranges of levels at a Poke stop with lure on then your chances are good.

If you're alone, you probably wont see high level Pokemon until maybe 12-13 I'm guessing?
