Question... What are the benefits of owning a gym I know the whole coins and stardust collecting every 20 hours but is there more to it? I'm constantly see a gym being battled for by my crib but I don't get why it's constantly being fought for when you could only collect your stuff every 20 hours so what's the point?

The closest gym to me is in the next town (9 mins away)  and it only has two low level Mystic players in it. GOod thing I didn't decided to drive over there. Would have been an empty trip lol.
