All I'm hearing from you is that the rioting and looting is somehow justified.  Police always gather in large numbers during potentially volatile situations - believe me, I've seen a MUCH bigger police presence during the while Occupy Wall Street protests here in NYC.  Unless the police in that town actually attacked the protestors, there's absolutely no justification for the looting and rioting, which did absolutely NOTHING to express any points to the police there.  The only people the looting and rioting hurt was the innocent business owners there, and the community which is now without that particular business servicing them.

never said it was... what i said is police presents doesnt justify looting... the same way as ppl organizing and protesting doesnt justify cops/armed service to set up command post like they are in the middle east.

as far as my point of view and what I see where im from its different anybody can get it

and you say that the police force is built and founded by whites I guess there the only ones paying taxes out here 

so i guess this throws out that earlier theory about how these are the people our tax dollars pay to keep us safe because 

according to you it not founded by the asian hispanic or the blacks

Um you do realize taxes etc... and today has nothing to do with the founders of the laws and govt of this country. What does paying taxes have to do with laws/judicial system created and established years ago?

The laws and the way this country was built and organized to run exceeds a time waaaay before you or hell hispanics asians etc... were paying taxes and to be honest before vast majority of them were even apart of this country.

It's problematic to talk how you talk because you're taking away a majority of the blame from white people and the corrupt system and talking first about how much better black people should be doing. You're steering the discussion away from the abusers and talking about what the victims can do better. Think about that.

Yes, black people and minorities aren't perfect. But that's not the issue here. The issue is police brutality and the lack of accountability for it. Black people staying united or bettering themselves is a COMPLETELY separate issue. Do you really not see that?

I brought to the table how to stop being the victims in the first place. We've already indentified the abuse, now let's work on fixing it. I proposed winning our internal war first -- to put us in better position to win the external one.

but the thing is they are intertwined... many of the internal issues are a direct result of forces things caused by external issues.

Well In my opinion Black on Black crime has weakened the strength of the Black community. While doing that it has weakened the overall outlook that other races share when viewing us. When they see the crime rate and other publicized issues, they put all of us in the same box.

So when you have people in positions of authority, I'm sure all of this plays a factor when they approach a situation dealing with a Black person. Just like when some White people put themselves on guard when we're around.

Certain crops of people though have used this to their hateful advantage knowing that Blacks aren't treated completely equally, they have a who cares approach.

Another issue that needs to be addressed in the future is the mistreatment of Hispanics in the work force. They're categorized as hard workers. Doing that little bit extra. I'm not here to say that they aren't, but if you were on new unfamiliar land. Knowing that your family depends on you. Wouldn't you work harder than what you're required to for the sake of pleasing everyone and maintaining employment?

Lot of issues need to be addressed, but right now lets figure out some creative ways to stop the mistreatment of African Americans.

Point blank. We an talk about White Supremacy until we're blue in the face. Until we actually start taking care of and loving each other. Watch how this continues to happen.

Now with situations like the Trayvon Martin. George Zimmerman disobeyed orders from Authority and pursued that young man anyway. That led to him eventually killing Trayvon. Zimmerman should be in prison right now.

They're definitely things going on that show blatant disrespect for Blacks. That needs to change ASAP. We as a community need to as well. ASAP.

blacks/spanish folks 9 times likely to be harassed by cops doesnt have anything to do with black on black crime... Cops arent ulling black ppl over or arresting them on bogus charges because black on black crime... judges arent giving a black person who is caught with drugs 10 times the punishment then their white counterpart because of black on black crime...

So cops hosing and chasing blacks with dogs 40 odd years ago was because of black on black crime? Was cops raiding and shooting up black churches and schools because of black on black crime? How about cops falsely arresting blacks and pinning crimes that whites committed on them... that is because of black on black crime to?
