its just a yellow tint film

Haven't had the chance. I'm using my daily for now. Spark plugs and fuel filter were changed less than 10k miles ago. Could it be an exhaust leak or a catalytic converter or something like that?
A leak from the exhaust or cat wouldn't cause something like that to happen

check your ignition coils

Weird, I just drove it today and the noise is gone. Idle is perfect now. Still wonder what it is. Could it be a dirty maf sensor?
If it is the coils I might as well upgrade.
I think it might be since it sounds like a misfire. I'll check the plugs too

2nd on the coils or plugs

Sgamon, your Stang is a 3v modular right?

I've got a 2v and I'm not sure about the 3v, but the gaping/torque tolerences on the 2v modular are tight as hell ( technically loose :lol like 12 lb ft iirc). You said you just got the plugs changed and I know alot of people have issues over torquing that lead to all kinds of problems like blowing plugs and shattering coils in the process. They're also coil on plug so instead of a single coil pack, they have 8 individual coils. Again, not exactly sure how much of this applies to your 3v, but figured I'd chime in.

Hmm I'll check for overtorquing too then. Thanks

Go to laminx.com and search for your car. Installation is extremely easy, just make sure you do a wet application. Clean your lamps with rubbing alcohol first. Wet your fingers and film with water, the more the better. You'll be able to reposition however you want and then squeegee for adhesion.

I once did a tint on my fogs. It helps if you turn them on to heat up the film. Real easy job

^Thanks for the tips. I looked at my fog lights and would have to take my front bumper off to apply any tints. No thanks. :lol

Mine has strakes splitting up the fogs into three sections. Laminx provided precut strips for these. They should do the same for your car to prevent removal of the entire bumper. What car do you have?

This year i was supposed to treat myself with a truck that ive wanted for a while, the q56 from infiniti, but with my 2nd lil one on the way im tryna look at houses instead of cars.

I dont wanna adult anymore

I have a gs350. You see how the fog light casing is behind the bumper? The casing is bigger than the cutout on the bumper. =( I don't really feel like doing all that work to put tints on.

I don't think you have to cover the whole fog light. They'll send you precut tints that cover just the visible part. You can always remove it anyway

PICS FROM FIRST TRACK DAY IN THE 350. WORKING ON THE VIDEO BUT MOST OF MY VIDEOS ARE LOOKING TO BE A WASH. THE WIND NOISE IS BRUTAL. PROB GOING TO SCRAP ALL OF THE TRACK VIDS. ANY TIPS ON MIC SETUP? I'M USING A GOPRO HERO 5 WITH AN EXTERNAL MIC. IT SEEMS THE EXTERNAL MIC IS TOO SENSITIVE BECAUSE I ACTUALLY GOT LESS WIND NOISE WHEN JUST USING THE GOPRO MIC ON MY INSTRUCTOR LAP VS WHEN I USED THE EXTERNAL MIC ON MY SOLO LAPS. AFTER THE TRACK DAY I PUT A DEAD CAT ON THE MIC AND SNAKED IT TO THE LICENSE PLATE INSTEAD OF MOUNTING IT INSIDE THE CAR. THAT FIXED THE WIND NOISE PROBLEM BUT NOW THE BREAKDOWN OF THE EXHAUST ON DECELERATION IS CAUSING CLIPPING IN THE AUDIO....

HALP. :lol
