Cadillac Introduces Their First Twin Turbo V8 Engine

That engine looks overly complicated, just like the BMW twin turbo V8's. I read that someone had the BMW TT V8 and it blew a head gasket. The repair was over $10,000. Look at all the things you need to remove just to get the heads off - the CTS-V's LT4 engine is so much less complicated and is will maintain its value.

Due to the complexity of European luxury car engines, look how cheap they become when the warranty runs out, this will become a disposable car after 100,000 miles. Who wants to pay for the exorbitant costs associated with any major repairs.

Grine Grine Hot V set ups are good for making the engine as compact as possible and reducing turbo lag. Plus they're looking for those that are looking at 2019s in 2018 and not 2018s in 2024

Got my car back from the bodyshop, it was finished a week ago but haven't had time to scoop it up. Time to put some miles on it, only racked up 2k since november but i'm paying for 15k miles a year. Part of me wishes I had waited for the M5, but performance isn't what I got the car for. I'd rather splurge when i'm ready to sell my 911. The M5 looks so good though.

So that Book by Cadillac service is now available in LA. I looked into it and its $1,800 a month including everything except for gas lol

What is included in the $1800 per month subscription fee?
Your BOOK by Cadillac subscription includes the following benefits. 18 vehicle exchanges within 12 months of initial signup, Access to BOOK by Cadillac's fleet of high-end luxury vehicles (based on availability), insurance, routine maintenance and repairs, vehicle registration costs, OnStar, Sirius XM, 4G LTE, and State and local taxes.

Gonna need a new car soon and I’m most likely either gonna go with an a3 hatch or the new Camry. I’m iffy on spending 20 so anything above that is holding me off

This a3 is probably the best deal I’ve seen so I may actually hop on it. Only thing is that I guess it was a fleet car for a couple years :rolleyesBeen trying to find one with around 30k miles but this has 43,xxx and it’s the premium plus (I want a screen). I drive between like 13-15,000 miles a year so I’m trying to envision where I’d be in 5 years (in terms of the car)

It seems like it was well maintained and has such low miles so I wonder why it’s so cheap

Like I said I’m between this and the new Camry. The new Camry is a little more than I feel comfortable spending but it would be nice to not have to worry about anything. Trying to decide if I should listen to my dad and be responsible or not

I’m coming from an 07 Mazda 6 with almost 173,000 miles on it. It’s still going strong but I have my inspection this month and I need to do that, an oil change, new headlight, and all new brakes and everything. I already know I’m probably gonna have to fix something to pass inspection so I’m starting to think if I even want to spend that $$ or put It towards a new car

:smh: I already know it’s a bad idea but it just keeps dragging me back in

I blame whoever in here has the blue SQ5

let's put it like this... you're already dragging your feet at servicing your Mazda which by all accounts is gonna b waaaaaaaaaaay cheaper than 20k, but you wanna put your tush in a finicky german luxury car that has to be on top of regularly maintenance wise...? sounds like a recipe for disaster.
