No where near a store to get them. I've picked some sellers on ebay that have them anywhere from $125-$170. All the sellers are at least 99% positive feedback with at least 1,000 transactions. Some with upwards of 10,000 transactions.

They can't be fake, right? Has anybody every bought from any of these sellers? Any help would be appreciated. Here are links to some of them I'm talking about (I hope it is okay to post these live ebay auction links, if not, mods, please let me know so I can take them down)

I'm going to have to grab these.
How versatile are they though?

Another question, if I order a pair of ray bans online can I just take them to the optometrist and have them put prescription lenses in them? If so how much would that run?

Yeah, im curious about this aswell. I just bought my first pair of high end shades and im not sure if I can just bring them into my optometrist and have them make prescription lenses for me.

The pantoscopic angle just fits some people - depends on where the bridge of your nose is relative to you ears. I suppose if you think if the classis Roman nose common in Italy it probably works okay - doesn't really work for African-Americans or Asians though - makes the bottom of the frame sit on your cheeks which looks stupid and makes them steam up.

Different ones have less of a tilt and metal legs can be adjusted - you can't do much with most plastic type frames to change that angle.

Pretty much - as long as the lenses are held in a proper frame like glasses (some are just moulded in place so can't really take a proper lens) then it shouldn't be a problem. You've got to watch the curve too - if they wrap around too much then it can be hard.

The thing with some companies is that you pay a lot for the lenses though - and then you throw them away and put cheap prescription lenses in (did this yesterday for someone with Ray-Ban's) which seems a bit silly.

After serious deliberation between the Frogskins, Orginal Wayfarer 2140 and New Wayfarer 2132..

Went with the New Wayfarer 2132 in a 55 Polarized!

I think I'm just going to start wearing contacts. Getting tired of these frames sitting on my face every day

gotcha, thanks

I have ray ban new wayfarer color is like flat black I put prescription lens with polarized lens and I love em....its like everything in hd

Find an optometrist that is a Ray-Ban dealer. They can order them with Ray-Ban prescription lenses. Should save you some money from just punching them out, but you'll pay retail.

I just copped some New Wayfarers in matte black, I'll post pics later.
