POST YOUR WATCHES vol. ?

I always found this watch interesting, very futuristic. If it wasn't so super ginormous I would probably own one.
Very nice and interesting, thanks for sharing pics.
I also like Hamiltons retro LCD watch but then again it is just too big for me.
178990

how does that watch work if it's an automatic?

The movement "borrows" from the concept of the Seiko Kinetic by having an automatic rotor generate power for the battery. Actually the Ventura watch (Q Spark I think it was) also did this. Inside the Hamilton Pulsomatic is the Calibre H1970 automatically generated quartz movement (gee, I wonder why "1970" is in there). It has a power reserve of about 82 days when fully charged, and is made by Swiss ETA. It might have the rotor viewable through the watch caseback, but I am not sure.

Quite a challenge to make the polished stainless steel case and the curved dial stand out in the photo.

This one ain't half-bad either. :smokin

INdeed Movado's are beautiful.
Another favourite black watch of mine, although I'm not a fan of the brand is this Panerai:
180258

It has a ceramic backplate and I believe it's a limited release.

That is a really nice Panerai, usually not a lot of Panerais I like.

Trying to buy the missus a watch, similar to the below style in a smaller size. The one below is too big on her wrist. Suggestions please. Thank you!

You want some help, post some pics of the watch brah, don't be lazy **** :smh:.

First what size wrist does she have?
How big is that watch?
What movement do you want? Quartz or Auto/Mechanical?
Is water resistance important to you? Do you plan on swimming with it on?
Does it need to be Swiss?
Do you prefer bracelet or leather? Do you want to be able to put a leather band on it, if it comes with a bracelet?
Does it have to be well-known brand?
How much is your budget?

I have been thinking about getting this as my first watch. im not sure yet

I have just under 10 Citizen watches, make sure you try them on in store and order online from Amazon or through eBay powerseller (best prices usually).

Sorry I'm new to this.

She prefers it to be black and ceramic if possible.

I'm not sure what size her wrist is.

The case is 35mm X 23mm. 35mm is too big for her wrist.

Movement doesn't matter.

Doubt she's going to plan on swimming with it, so water resistance isn't important.

Does not need to be Swiss.

Yes to well-known brand. Willing to spend up to $1.5K max.

Thanks for all your help.

Not bad ksteezy, looks better in this pic. Mido and Certina as a brand is :smokin, too bad we only get Hamilton and Tissot in the sub $1000 price point :smh:
