We never heard about his Mom or either of his uncles, safe to assume the game took all 3 of them, maybe Davina too since there’s probably a reason they showed us that she knows where the main stash is
And yea that lead actor is always gonna be a problem
, it’s the inverse from the OG Power where the lead was casted well but the script eventually became trash

Wasn’t Jukebox in Power short - in Kana she mad tall
She isn't that tall bro, avg 5'4 or 5'5. If she doesn't grow anymore and gets a lil size to her she'd be about the same height as the woman that played jukebox give or take an inch or two. Right now she's 15, and skinny so she may appear to be taller. You acting like adult Juke is 5'1 and teen juke is 5'10
Facts! It comes from somewhere and we haven't gotten to that part yet. We have a good 2-3 yrs to see Kanan's progression, a lot can happen in that time period when you're in the streets. That means we have a min of 3 seasons to look forward to if they do it right. That also means the characters will have to change as well to represent that transition. So more than likely 15 yr old Kanan might get replaced during this period.

Very true. For Kanan and Jukebox to be so cold blooded means the tragedy affected them both equally turning them hard as ****. Kanan is close to his moms and so is Juke. Likewise they got mad love and respect for the uncles. I guarantee the game is going to take all of them away from Juke and Kanan making it so they have to rely on each other. I also see Juke being rejecting because of her sexual orientation. Either by the white girl, her father, or both. That is going to play a part as well.
They'll get rid of him once the transition is complete He definitely can't play the real Kanan, lol

I'm probably alone in this but it took me the second ep to finally realize Kanan's uncle is Kev from Snowfall.

His other Uncle is Reggie, the football player Vernon's friend from Ballers. He's pretty much the same character.

The rap storyline is wack and why are they pushing this Jukebox singing storyline. She was so one dimensional on Power as the cop and underutilized.
Why did Reggie run in to the car, instead of shooting while he had the drop. Dude didn't run away? No back door? No cops in the residential neighborhood?
Raq did Kanan dirty with the dinner.
Bloody shirt under the bed?

I don't think it's bad, it's just slow and mediocre. I don't get the point of some of the storylines. Like the uncle who wants to be a producer. His chick and her brother and Al B Sure Jr. All of that music **** is wack.

They're fleshing out characters that were one dimensional in the original show. Nobody wanted to know Kanan's background.
It's like Walking Dead, how they started doing spinoffs, and that Fear Of Walking Dead wasn't what people thought it was going to be.

It’s not surprising, the ppl in charge didnt have any idea what to do with the OG characters from jump now they backtracking cuz they got another season …Kanan was the worst dude in the world in the original power universe but now we learning yo a nice boy with a decent family n jus gotta see how he gets so scary even tho it’s the 11th grade for him already
A Tommy prequel woulda made more sense cuz his moms been involved but 50 around so they gotta do something with yo …All of young Kanan crew gon die in a fire out the bodega they running out now, im calling it early

Outside of the early 90s aesthetic, which is already wearing off on me, I'm not feeling this spin-off/prequel.
It has the same problems as the other two series, weak writing and unnecessary storylines that add nothing to the plot.
Jukebox's girlfriend is cute though.
