if anyone wants gamestop.com has red dead redemption for 19.99 + free ship, your supposed to ad to cart add a other game and use this code 171HWHT4 then remove the game and checkout

pretty sure pre-slims had some kind of wireless "problem" or "defect" or whatever, cant remember what it was though, my pre-slim ps3 is located downstairs and gets minimum acceptable online connections often while other wireless-g devices i have get great reception there, it does however get better the closer i move it to the router though

whatever it was, pretty sure they fixed it with the slims, if you got a slim then i got no clue

Whens the last time you reset your router? Try to power cycle your router and see if it helps any.

Square’s released three new shots of Dissida 012: Final Fantasy. Oneof them features FFVII’s Aeris, who will be in the game as a supportcharacter, but only if you buy the currently Japanese-only premiumprologue demo for the game. The screens are here on Siliconera.

Dissidia releases on March 3 in Japan and March 22 in US on PSP.

Final Fantasy XIII owners may want to keep hold of their save gamefile for FFXIII-2, according to producer Yoshinori Kitase and directorMotomu Toriyama.

For what specific reasons, the pair didn’t say. But you can probablyexpect to see some sort of surprise or goods for FFXIII-2 when you buyit.

The pair also dropped a couple more details for the game to Famitsu, but they’re pretty spoilerific for those who have yet to complete FFXIII itself.

Andriasang has all the details translated here.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 releases next winer in the west for PS3 and 360
Latest PS3 firmware already hacked
Sony’s security minded firmware update, 3.56, has been hacked withinhours of release, re-enabling custom firmware and once more throwingthe console open to homebrew developers and pirates alike.

Edge writes that Wii hacker KaKaRoTo, creator of the home-brew firmware enabling PS3 tools, tweetedthat the latest version of his toolset was already updated, equipped tocircumnavigate 3.56’s new security features within hours of thefirmware going live.

In the meantime, root-key publisher GeoHot has been slapped with a temporary restraining order preventing them from assisting others in jailbreaking their PS3 consoles.

If that’s not enough to scare off the firmware fiends, thenKaKaRoTok’s update should spark a series of updates to custom firmwarereleases.
Thanks, CVG

^^ there got to be a way to prevent hackers

we are going to lose al ot of great game from small studios because they cant make money

its not about stopping them, its about slowing them down while protecting new launch releases and securing psn, im sure theyve accepted to a degree that games released weeks after a new firmware are already compromised which is why im sure we'll see a new firmware before every major release

sony had people scratching their head for years, it wasnt until the geohot hypervisor situation, and then the open in service mode, and then the failoverflow situation that the floodgates blew wide open

also, now "legit" cfw people are worried about sonys new PSN authentication checks (or whatever) for 3.56

I passed.
Same. I can see the appeal, but not my type of game.
I rented it, and played thru single player co-op with my brother, but I'm glad I didn't buy it, it doesn't hold a lot of replay value for me, personally.

I bought Dead Space 2, and even though that will surely have less replay value than LBP2, it is so bad *##.

Graphics look very close to PS3, bright and beautiful, gotta credit the 5' OLED display.
The gyrosensor to aim?

The touch panel looks great. Movements from onscreen touch looks fluid.
The rear touch panel climbing is genius.

Since I doubt Activision is gonna make a ground up COD for this, just port Modern Warfare 2. I get 3G and 4G coverage in my area, it would be crazy to get WiMax hack onto this, although probably not possible.

FF games are going to be massive this year. Dissidia, Type-0 and XIII-2.

Uncharted screenshot and it's not the final build.

Weird. I know I was stuck on moderate for a while and I went to my router setup and enabled DMZ or something like that and I've ben on Open since. Check youtube there's tons of tuts.

And about the PS3 hacking, I heard Sony is pretty much screwed. The hackers have all the keys or whatever so basically once a firmware is released a hacked version will be out soon after. I'm still on 3.55 playing online
