Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

Going through all that old Clipse ****, Malice was repenting I’m damn near every one of his verses if you were listening. It’s wild listening now to how well he projected his guilt.

Rappers is talking to me as if, come on
We in the same boat, I tell them quick, no, I move Coke
And you and I don't share no common bond
So forgive me if I don't receive you with open arms, no

It shames me to no end to feed poison
To those who could very well be my kin
But where there's demand, someone will supply
So I feed them their needs at the same time cry

Yes, it pains me to see them need this
All of them lost souls and I'm their Jesus
Deepest regret and sympathy to the street
I see them pay for they fix when they kids couldn't eat, so sorry

And with this in mind, I still didn't quit
And that's how I know that I ain't ****, I ain't ****
My heart bleed but that's aside from the fact
I live from my kids and their's and them youngin's after that

Bro Pusha was on a song where his brother once said "i seen fiends pay for their fix when they kids didn't eat, & with that in mind i still didn't quit... that's how i know that i ain't ****"

Pusha & his brother have been open books, His damn manager is serving 33 years. He ain't out here to be on his moral high ground he's made it clear his entire career. Drake on the other hand has his entire rollout On being the nicest in rap. He was literally creating tear jerk videos with charity in it, & then did a song uplifting women & through every popping black chick in it.

Then the Sambo pictures comes out & he's SUDDENLY putting on for specifically black artist & making that drastic of a statement? The same guy who is now arguably the biggest star in music & during his rise he ain't said a peep about the struggle for black artist in entertainment? The fans could try & spin this all they want but it looks silly

I get what you are saying.

My comment simply means that if Push is gonna question Drake character like this, especially in interviews, that people will question his.

Everyone saying it is just rap but Pusha is saying that some the issues he brought to light goes beyond simple rap. If that is the case, people are gonna look in his closet too. That is just how it goes.

I am not making and sweeping generalizations of the man's character. I am not slandering him. Hell I didn't even criticize him for the tweet. I just said he opened the door for this.

You complain about spin, yet seemingly I gotta answer for **** I didn't say. Your beef is with other people, not me.

Tonight, right now? 'Did I go out' yeah I went out, I went, I went to a couple of clubs
I never went to bed, ****' wine or water
You should see someone about a cold drink, I don't know, I'm delirious' night'
Cups of the Rose
*****es in my old phone
I should call one and go home
I've been in this club too long
The woman that I would try
Is happy wit a good guy
But I've been drinking so much
That I'ma call her anyway and say
**** that ***** that you love so bad
I know you still think about the times we had
I say **** that ***** that you think you found
And since you picked up I know he's not around
I'm just sayin', you could do better
Tell me have you heard that lately?

Y’all want Pusha to leave Good Music cause his boss a racist? Then every rapper should leave their label cause they’re all racist. Push said he’s talked to Kanye about it multiple times. Y’all think anyone can get through to Kanye? He knows everything and doesn’t answer to anyone. All he can do is say I don’t agree at all, we not on the same page.

I like that he called out that bogus statement too. Shut was pure ********

Pusha and Malice have a classic on their hands if they ever decide to make another album together with the premise being the dichotomy of the drug game.

Pusha do what he’s been doing and No Malice rapping from the perspective of being anguished by the guilt and downside of the game.

WE NEED THAT.

Hell it’d be fire if they made it like there’s was only one person speaking;with them serving as 2 sides of said persons consciousness.

:sick::sick: I just amped myself up for no reason :smh:

They want him to belittle Kanye publicly in interviews or on instagram  A friend and the dudes label he's on.

I really wonder about dudes on the internet.

If someone is a friend I expect them to do it privately. That's what men and adults do.

They listen to Drake though, so I don't expect them to have a similar code.

For all the **** Ye been talking. His album better deliver.

Pablo was trash. Maybe I'm bored of Ye but his production lately sounds like his chasing MBDTF.
