Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

Those Keef songs ain't close to a BMF, March Madness, Meek intro. Maybe where you stay but that's it.

Super overrated, big sean verse was better

Even if you think it's overrated it had the game on pause. Dudes making "responses", a rapper crying on the radio.

Sometimes folks really find it hard to be objective and think things are true because they f*** with an artist. Earned it and Faneto in a top 3 song of the decade list? Wow.

Yeah it's just something I made up huh lol.

I guess 31k people from Twitter are from "where I stay" too.

All I had to do was search Faneto on Twitter. See for yourself.

https://twitter.com/search?q=faneto&src=typd

It might be a <25 thing but they are definitely two of the biggest songs of the decade. BMF will not get played in a club in a decade and start fights.

You can search twitter and find a bunch of people that's gon co-sign anything.

Those songs ain't up there like that.

 You can't find multiple people nationwide co-signing some random song as on the same level as D&N or have the general consensus that it makes the club go crazy. If so, find a tweet with 31k people saying the same about BMF

Like I said it might just be a <25 thing. If I was approaching my 30's I probably wouldn't still be going to house parties to get pushed around and my shoes stepped on to Chief Keef songs either. But it's not some obscure mixtape cut lol. Whether or not the <25 year old's consensus is enough to make a song the hottest of the decade is up to y'all and a whole different discussion entirely.

Faneto is huge.....but it ain't on the level of "Intro" or "March Madness"

Those joint transcend age and demographics

Age ain't got nothing to do with it. People I hang with don't bump Uzi but I know he got songs that's big. I guess though bruh, if YOU wanna put up there. Never said it was obscure, it just ain't on THAT level.

Another song that gets a similar reaction nationwide at clubs/parties that y'all probably feel the same way about as y'all do Faneto...

There was a video of when he was locked up and a crowd full of all colors of people was singing it with just the DJ playing some filtered drums on some African Tribal chant ****

we gon see on march madness. if they still playin it in like 2-3 years then itll be up there with the intro

It came out in February 2015....they STILL play that joint at every event

Going on 3 years now. I know you hate Super Few....but that joint undeniable.

You see how the crowd reacts when...."Dress it up and make it real for me" comes on.

March Madness is a hit, but I really don't understand how it reached so many it did. I always thought Trap n***** would be the one to do that.

It's debateable. It's a hit no doubt but I still don't think it's on the level of the intro. And bad and boujee is another one we will have to see. In terms of popularity it's wayyyy past march madness but it might not have the staying power

Are Earned It and Faneto on the level of Don't Like?

Right now Earned It and Faneto gonna get the bigger response in the club but Don't Like had the bigger overall impact.

Safe to say Bad And Boujee is gonna be up there.

What about joints like Mark McGuire and Stay Schemin?

Mark McGuire a personal favorite but I feel like ppl slept on that tape as a whole. Chosen One shoulda been a hit record.

Stay Schemin gonna make Top 50-30 lists in 2019 for sure.

Meek got arrested right before he was scheduled to perform Young Black America on Fallon.

There's some strange irony in there somewhere.
