Remember downloading Squad up tapes and Booty Talk (West Coast Productions :nerd:) at the same damn time on the dial up. **** used to take HOURS :smh: . Be looking like this:

I store my music on a external hard drive with uploads to Google Play. That's one thing I like about it is how easy it is to add cover art.

I used Limewire and then advanced to mIRC

When they had the fake songs with the static :smh:

Being forced to download the 128 quality :smh:

I wonder this myself

Lord knows how many hours I spent on Napster/Limewire/mIRC downloading ENTIRE discographies. Streaming changed all of that ****. *****s don't know about this life

or whatever the paid version was called :lol

Aks an idiot for tryna downplay Kendrick on Control. So many Nters were upset  Last time I remember n***** hopping on a beat and making their own version, and looking foolish whilst doing it.

in hindsight
control verse was just ok
not bad
but music at the time(still is)
was so trash
that it stood above the rest

Of course in hindsight, after the surprise died down you look at it differently, but the verse was massive when it dropped.

Kazaa and Ares bodied at least 3 desktops for me. ****s were riddled with viruses :smh:

Every ***** who messed with p2p had at least three clips of Obsession getting her yambs blown out and a Big L lost tape in the download folder :pimp:

The memorable moment are the name drops. ... And the king of new york line.

It did what it was supposed to do. Dope verse, big moment, got a lot of these "let's be friends" dudes tight.

Didn't know LUV2 was an album, but it's about what I would have expected from Uzi, maybe a little less or more. I'll give XXXTenacion a chance, but 86K when I didn't hear anything about him until like 3-4 months back is shocking.

It's not shocking. He's a new age gimmick rapper. While rappers who have somewhat of a following and are in jail or whatever, they get a buzz and decent following similar to Earl Sweatshirt, and now Tay-K. Couple that with him doing dumb s*** and just being an attention ***** since he got out of jail, he attracted a lot of fans. Which are the whites as Joe Budden likes to put it. And whenever your fanbase is comprised mainly of the whites, you will sell decently.

Yachty's album was trash. That's pretty much why, and Yachty didn't have any presence outside of his fanbase.
