Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

I don’t know how people throw this **** out. This cost money and can still be used. Digital is obvious easier but I love music too much and spent too much.
I Completely agree! One of my few regrets.

Had almost every Ron G, Clue, Kayslay, Juice, kool kid, Wop, Tony Touch, S&S, Whoo Kid, Dirty Harry, Green Lantern, all on Cassettes (had tons of others but those were the ones with almost complete sets) before they went to CD some of them were hard to find too.

It’s the truth, b.

Nah...you can’t say that when Future & HNDRXX did very well from a commercial and critical standpoint. And Beast Mode 2 was high quality. Some joints from there still get spins. This latest project, I can see the claims.

But def ain’t fall off. Cmon man :lol.

Did some cleaning, found a few things I had to post

I was pissed at Bethea. Because I read that book and defended him and thought his change was real, then he came back to rap.

This song went

Forgot Bodie was up in the video.

Cipha Soundz did that, he was big in to reggae.

I did not click play and I never heard more than the single and it's remix, but Lumidee had to be a hood movement cuz that broad couldn't sing to save her life.

This was big in the club. It was the Jamaican riddim and was easily blendable.

This is a set in New York

They could have found someone who could actually sing to get on that joint. That song is a brutal listen.

Fab blessed it though.

I actually thought her not being able to sing made the song. The draw was the riddim and the catchy hook.

It was a precursor to today, but people don't do it today to dance with women.

Nah u was getting it off when Uh Oh came on, straight to Oye Mi Canto, if shorty danced on you thru those two songs, you had her in the bag
