RIP George Floyd

money, and violence.

Man I miss this show so much.

I was surprised to see how much the city was shut down yesterday. It was honestly like we went right back to the quarantine. With that said keep it this way til real change is made. I told my nephew this morning he might as well take a summer class or two online we got a while before the world goes back to status quo.

They gotta burn down governmental buildings then hit the suburbs. White people won’t really care about these issues until their homes start getting targeted.
nah. i'm all for govt buildings and corporate businesses getting the treatment, but the moment people start burning private homes and/or breaking into them, no one's gonna be empathizing with anyone's struggles.

to those that missed my point. When you make a statement such as "f*** the police", you are generalizing ALL Police Officers. When it should be directed to the individuals that have done wrong to the people. We have GOOD cops and we have BAD ones. If you choose not to deal with Law Enforcement, that's your right, just don't look to them for assistance when the time comes. To ME, it shows Hypocrisy! Nothing personal, we can agree to disagree
As far as saying don't call the police for help because we say f the police. That's not fair. We are not saying f the police because they aren't there when our house is robbed. Were saying f the police because they're killing ppl. Not saying f the police because sometimes they help us is like a girlfriend who says nothing about her abusive boyfriend because he's good to her sometimes. Just because a son's father pays the bills doesn't mean he has the right to beat him. Ontop of all this we pay their wages and they work for us. So personally, I'm calling police when my house gets robbed and thanking them because that's what I pay for. And I'm also saying f the police because killing ppl is not.

I agree with not generalizing anything or throwing blanket statements over any group. But the problem with "not all cops are bad" is.... those good cops you speak of may be by the book on the streets, but how many of them see or hear their fellow officers do something dirty and say nothing? How many of those good officers are willing to keep their mouth shut, turn a blind eye, or defend bad cops? How many have actually stepped up and done the right thing by speaking out against their own? Just because some cops don't do dirt doesn't mean they're not protecting it.

The "good" cops don't root out the "bad" cops so in the end they are all bad. The "good" cops are complicit. That's the biggest issue we have. They are more loyal to each other than to the people they are sworn to protect and serve. You think this is the first time Chauvin went overboard with someone? Hell no. If a fellow officer would have turned him in 10 years ago, none of this would be going on. They are just as responsible as he is.
Hey, that applies to white people as well. ALL White people racist, because ALLL White people do not fight against racism and the system that supports such.

He's a lost cause.

If all blacks can be labeled THUGS
If all Mexicans can be labeled RAPISTS

Then all COPS can be labeled BAD

This is too far, man.

I'm angry, I get that people are angry and there is a general feeling of hopelessness among so many people these days- but running up in people's houses? What exactly is this going to accomplish except injury and death?

For what? I get that that exact thing has been done to black people throughout the history of this country, but advocating for running up in people's houses in 2020 is NOT IT.

Most whites got their wealth off our oppression.

Some people for real racist and don't even know it. If you're more outraged by people saying "F the police" than by what's happening then **** you too.

When people say the Chinese government are doing terrible hings, we understand what they're saying. Nobody goes around defending it on some "oh but there's this dude in the Chinese government who is brilliant so stop generalizing!"

When people talk about Middle Eastern terrorists I don't see white people going "oh there are BAD and GOOD ones!".
It's always when a group that's usually associated with majority white people when there's a big stink about "stop generalizing!"

Start treating every group as equals with the same standards then you'll get the same treatment back

Where every other crib got a safe with a cache of pistols and rifles?

that’s what I’m sayin man. We do not need them to have a reason. Instantly changes the dialog.

You see how they treated that machete dude like a hero til they got the back story.

A brother named James Scurlock was shot on Saturday minding his business by an ex marine with a history of criminal and violent activity who was “protecting his bar”. Don’t know if y’all covered it in here but there is video showing he escalated the situation and actually initiated contact + shot unnecessarily (of course) that I will not post here.

The French Revolution is romanticized but when black people do it...

The Haitian liberation/revolution a few years later is probably the most potent example of this

An uprising in the same tradition against the same country that inspired it led to centuries of subjugation and sabotage for one of them and universal praise and glorification for the other...

Not at all a coincidence that it was the worlds first independent black republic that was punished instead of elevated and lauded for it like France

Wife's cousin was spreading a tweet from an "Antifa" account stating they would be rioting neighborhoods starting from Downtown Sacramento to Vacaville.

I laughed and said don't believe it. All the gun-lovers from West Sacramento, Davis, and Dixon would gladly end that riot.

Hold on.

Address where you signed off on running up in people's houses.

I understand how wealth was amassed. Let's focus on what you said before.
Yea in most revolutions folk run up on people who have accumulated wealth through oppression.
