^hate that ****, but it happens will all brands. Lots of Nikes/Jordans, even my NB Tannerys (made in USA) have two different cuts of suede on the toe boxes. Remember seeing a lot of Daytonas like that too. There's also the mismatched perforation patterns that seen to be pretty common. Just the way it goes really.
