Sacramento Kings off-season thread

i know but you dont leave them in for that long. its just unrealistic.  once they get the game close, you at least have to get your star back in to help close out the comeback

John Salmons man. ****.

True. Cousins literally did it all out there. Glad to see Ben and IT playing well too.

Also Jimmer made a three

Cousins is growing up big time.  He is clearly the leader of this team and he is backing it up with his play and more importantly his effort.  dude dominated the 4th on both offense and defense, diving for lose balls, making all the hustle plays, and all of this with a dislocated shoulder.  so glad they didn't give up on him

Glad I got to catch the last few minutes of the game....

ended up missing the majority of the game cuz I had a date out in folsom :rolleyes

My bad Nelson, I actually had tix to this game too but realized I couldn't go at like 6 :lol

Damn I swear that game had it all.

Had the lead only to lose it and come back at the end
DMC with another monster game
Mclemore and Green going at each other
Jimmer sighting and a 3
Didn't have to see too much of Salmons and no Thornton

I didn't want that game to end. Hopefully both teams still have energy for tomorrow.

What I like most about Cousins is that he chose to stay in Sac..:Smoking

But dude Is right, nothing worth keeping other than Cousins and Ben. Maybe IT as a spark off the bench, and clean house because these dudes are all terrible. We need a roster makeover. JT, Jimmer, Thorton, Hayes, Outlaw, Salmons, can all go..

Kings Eager To Make Trade
Nov 20, 2013 1:12 PM EST

The Sacramento Kings have a "very high" level of interest in quickly making a trade, according to a source. It is believed that some conversations have advanced beyond the preliminary stage.

The Kings have a 3-7 record and have several veterans that could be attractive to playoff contenders.

John Salmons, Marcus Thornton and Patrick Patterson have all lost their starting jobs.

The Kings are looking for young players or draft picks to build around DeMarcus Cousins, Ben McLemore and their own pick.

Jimmer Fredette is also widely known as an available player via trade.

Trade em all!

How do you guys feel about possibly bringing in Derrick Williams?

I wouldn't mind getting him, just don't want Salmons, Hayes, or even MT here anymore

Derrick Williams could be a nice piece.

i have no problem with making trades as long as Cuz and McLemore arent traded.  Id like to keep Isaiah too but it depends on what we could get for him...

id really like to see them try to go after Danny Granger.  Indiana doesn't need him now after the emergence of Paul George and the fact that they might be the best team in the NBA right now, so why mess that up by putting Granger back into the lineup when he's healthy

I wouldn't have minded Derrick Williams last year. Is he still on the t wolves? Right now I'm more interested in them going after a known star like granger or tanking for Wiggins or Parker tbh.

I asked about Derrick Williams in the NBA thread yesterday when I saw the rumor out there, the opinion is fairly negative about him :lol

But still, I don't think I wouldn't mind him. He's young and athletic, Malone could probably get some defense out of him, Jent can probably work on his jumper, Dee Brown can probably help with his ball handling, Corliss can probably help him with his in between game.

All in all, if it means we are getting rid of Salmons, Hayes, JT, or even Jimmer I wouldn't say Williams is the worst thing in the world to get back in return.
