Sacramento Kings off-season thread

Dear lord this roster is ****

and Jimmer is back down to earth, and everyone realizes is sucks again after those 3 minutes.

What's the point of having Jimmer in there with IT if you're not going to have Jimmer come off screens and shoot the ball when he's hot?

And as I say that, Williams puts the ball on the floor AGAIN when he had an open jumpshot

Watching him play reminds me of seeing a fish out of water. Just jumping/moving around frantically, always looking like he's in a panic :{ :(

Apparently the Kings are interested in Andre Miller.

He has $2 mil guaranteed for next season.

this is interesting...

• The Cavaliers and Kings have been among the most aggressive teams in pursuit of trades, league sources say. On the heels of acquiring Rudy Gay from Toronto, the Kings are “swinging for the fences” on the trade market, one rival executive said. One top priority is shoring up the point guard position, with Andre Miller jumping to the top of the list after his falling out with Nuggets coach Brian Shaw and ensuing two-game suspension. But Kings GM Pete D'Alessandro's true long-term target is said to be Warriors sharpshooter Klay Thompson, who will be a restricted free agent after next season. With the Lakers having cooled on the idea of a Gasol-for-Andrew Bynum swap, the Cavs are now exploring other ways to end their experiment with the 7-footer before his $12.25 million salary for this season becomes fully guaranteed on Tuesday.

Bob Meyers is always looking to make that team better (which GM isn't?), and if he can do it for a solid backup PG to spell curry and a highly touted SG that (supposedly) can shoot plus a 1st I think he would take it. Not so much a fair return for us as we'd have to shell out a lot of dough to keep Thompson but like it was stated, it will take a load to get Thompson if he's even available. However, if it were to come to fruition I hope this would be our tarting lineup next year...

Andre Miller/Marcus Smart (if drafted)
Klay Thompson
Rudy Gay/Jabari Parker (if drafted)
Carl Landry
DeMarcus Cousins

Gross. team looking like they just don't give a **** anymore. and chemistry right down the toilet, yay!

So a few things: This Kings team chemistry is teetering badly. Factions are being formed in the locker room. Not a great situation.

I believe over the next few days/weeks, these infights will come out. Guys are frustrated with each other and it is spilling onto the floor.

Coach Malone is being tested pretty hard right now. He's holding these guys together with string and bubble gum. Things are bubbling

I firmly believe that this, along with obvious reasons, will lead to more moves by the front office. This roster has more changes coming.

There is one common denominator to most of the player on player confrontations. I'll leave it to you to guess who.

To be clear though, from a fan standpoint? I don't necessarily think these confrontations are ALL bad. Guys need to be accountable.

Bottom line: factions in locker room. Sniping and infighting. Guys are pissed. Moves inevitable.

Yikes, I didn't think I'd see the Kings have so many issues with one another this year.

To me it looks like Rudy and Cuz are pretty close with each-other. probably wanting to win and being the best players on the team they are forming a bond

who saw Thomas screaming at Acy and Williams on separate occasions after his man beat him?
