i used to get $40 haircuts and not tip. because the girl cutting my hair was a friend. in my book, friends dont tip friends.

Damn Can't get down with this one. My sister used to cut hair and I'd give her $10. That's my sister.

That's not a barber, that's a stylist I have a barber I see almost every week and a stylist I see the same thing once every month or every other, he also charges 40$ and I tip 10$ older Italian dude I think too in some trendy *** barber shop in the village, dudes serve you scotch while you on the chair....that alone makes the tip worth it.

I hope you non-tippers getting a haircut with sharpened stones

Same here. There are no times where I'll no tip purposely but there's always a reason.

I leave notes on receipts and stuff like that too. I hate going out to eat with my BM sometimes cuz she'll tip either way
Depends on how much work is done, typically $75-80 for my routine.

Wash, massage, deep wash, oil treatment, retwist, sometimes clipping.

Shorty up the street used to do it for $25 but she moved and I don't trust most of the amateurs around my way.

Your situation is understandable, but for fades and tapers, hell nah I'm not paying $30-40.

We aint worried about the food costing more money or the bill being higher

Also we're talking about tipping the dealer at casinos.

I'm not tipping the dealer because they dealt out the cards. I'm tipping them because I won a lot of money when they dealt me the cards.

What does that have to do with me not tipping servers AT ALL? There is no such thing as 5 star service from a dealer.

Friends don't charge friends for a service, the charge should be considered a tip, I'm a photographer and I can't bring myself to charging my good friends, but I do expect them to have it in them to at least Offer a tip if I do work for them...just shows curtesy....I'm assuming non-tippers are the same dudes that would just wipe their hands clean and deuce it up after you just worked for them....for the record, I'm talking about the gesture, because truth be told I would politely refuse it.

Hell nah. My uncle almost drove to Maryland Tuesday to pay one of those IG famous barber dudes $45 for a cut

Could you explain that to me or are you talking about @ high roller tables? or private games?

Keeping in mind I'm mainly playing blackjack or poker. Not backgammon or roulette.

Don't get me wrong I know what bad service from a dealer looks like but I usually get good service in Vegas @ the MGM. Same @ Atlantic city and usually at the casino in Queens.

It's just a hands per hour thing.

If you're sitting down playing poker and you're seeing upwards of 30 hands per hour, that's great "service".

A lot of dealers, even out in here Vegas, are complete and utter trash.

Casual gamblers wouldn't even notice something like this, tho.

This. I can't imagine having a friend do something for me and not offering some cash. They got rent/bills like everyone else. And the folks that do that type of stuff, trust me word gets around.

i had no choice on paying. id have to go where she worked and she could get in trouble if i didnt pay. i wouldnt tip, but if we went out i would buy her a drink or such.

Hey bros justify your cheap ways whatever way it makes you feel like is the right thing, blame your inability to drop an extra buck or two on your bill on the food industry, the high cost of your barbers cut, don't complaint tho when the service you receive at these places you frequent more than once and don't tip becomes absolute trash or your barber skips you for a tipping client...you gonna end up running out of places to frequent

Drinks and/or dinner is a form of a tip IMO. I see no problem with it. However, if you think they should do it because they're your friend, that's funny style to me.
