theres a chance you can get in today too as its partly a soft opening
nah I work down here. They’re having a dedication ceremony tonight. The whole land closes at 4 for it. No chance tonight. Maybe the studios cast but even then slim to none. Having trouble keeping it running

having trouble keeping it running as in the rides bugging out or its just too crowded?

seems like yall been letting the media ride since dawn

What an exciting Star Wars day today, A lot of the Mando Merc costumers are getting worked up about it being ok to remove their helmets and JJ just opened up the can of worms about LGBT's being represented in Episode 9.

???
We were never allowed to remove our buckets in public during Troop events anyway. Mandos could? Thank goodness for helmet fans.

Disney+ has just announced a new original game show coming to the streaming service next year.

Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge is an exciting new game show set in a galaxy far, far away, which tests young contestants’ abilities in the core Jedi principles of strength, knowledge, and bravery as they face thrilling and fun obstacles in an attempt to achieve the rank of Jedi Knight!

From lightsabers, to hyperspace, the Force, and the dark side, Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge transports viewers and contestants into the Star Wars galaxy like never before.

The show is hosted by Ahmed Best, who will play a Jedi Master and mentor to the contestants. Known to many fans as Jar Jar Binks from the Star Wars prequels, Best’s unique set of skills as an actor, dancer, martial arts expert, STOMP musician, and Star Wars fan make him the perfect choice as the show’s host and mentor.

Best is joined by a hilarious humanoid droid companion, voiced by Mary Holland (VEEP, Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre).

“This is definitely a kids game show like no other,” says Lucasfilm’s senior director of Online Content & Programming, Mickey Capoferri. “The various challenges will test a Padawan’s connection to the Force in three locations — a forest planet, on board a Jedi star cruiser, and inside a Jedi Temple — immersing them and the audience in a fun, humorous, and exciting competition.”
“Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge brings together the best of Star Wars – competitive spirit, harrowing obstacles and a hero’s triumph over challenges – in a totally new format for the franchise,” said Dan Silver, vice president, Originals – Unscripted Content, Disney+. “A game show set in the Star Wars galaxy is a perfect fit for Disney+.”

Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge is executive produced by Lucasfilm, Dean Houser, and David Chamberlin and Mike Antinoro from Endeavor Content.

The show will launch on Disney+ in 2020.

Sounds completely original...

Haven't heard of Ahmed Best since after episode 1 but I suppose that was nice of him to open up about contemplating suicide after that movie came out and then getting an opportunity to host this new show. Best of luck to him.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker to introduce new Force powers that will “infuriate some people,” says J.J. Abrams

There's been an awakening. In a galaxy far, far away, the Jedi and Sith have learned some new Force powers, ones that have never been seen before. At least, that's what Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker director J.J. Abrams has promised.

Speaking to Vanity Fair, the filmmaker revealed that Episode 9 will introduce a host of new Force powers – including some that will "infuriate some fans." Reasoning why, he told the publication: “It was really important that we not just redo the things you’ve seen, but add new elements—which we knew will infuriate some people and thrill others."

That's not to say that the old ways have been forgotten, with Abrams confirming that they have simply found "new ways of doing sort of traditional, must-have sequences" such as "chases or lightsaber battles". He continued: “We wanted to make sure that this picture also showed aspects of the Force in ways that go beyond what you’ve seen before.”

One such new power may be Rey's ability to jump huge distances. In a recent TV spot, the hero of our story was seen attempting to launch herself from a Death Destroyer onto an escape ship that's a very long way away. Could she use the Force to jump that huge distance?

Abrams, of course, remains tight-lipped over what exactly is in stall for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Previously speaking to our sister publication Total Film about Episode 9, he spoke about learning from Rian Johnson's Star Wars: The Last Jedi – a movie that also introduced new Force powers, such as Luke being able to make an illusion of himself of the salt planet Crait.

“Rian helped remind me that that’s why we’re on these movies – not to just do something that you’ve seen before,” Abrams said. “I won’t say that I felt constrained or limited on 7, but I found myself wanting to do something that felt more consistent with the original trilogy than not. And on 9, I found myself feeling like I’m just gonna go for it a bit more.”

Watching Clone Wars. On Season 2. Was dope to see Anakin tap into the dark side to find out how to save Asohka and the Clone troopers from the Geonosan parasites.

As someone who learned about the
Holocron
through playing Fallen Order it was cool to see it and be able to talk about it before the Jedi could explain what it was.

She's more of a god and less of a Jedi. Why should people be infuriated at what she can do at this stage?
