My bench is off for some reason

I have a slight arch in my back with both feet firmly planted on the ground and have my chest slightly lifted.

When I go to press, I feel it more in my shoulders than my chest. Bar goes below slightly below my nipple line

Shrug up, then back, then down before you lay down. Squeeze your glutes together and keep your feet stable throughout the lift.
 
Lost 15 pounds in a month I can't believe how much a diet can play such a big part . I just started eating healthy again and surprisingly I went from 190 to 175 and I can still lift as heavy as I used to .. I can still bench press 225 5 x 5 easily


^^ What type of diet are you on? What's a typical day in meals?


I want to drop at least 10 pounds because my dress shirts starting to look tight at work. :rolleyes
 
Tuck your shoulder blades into your back pockets. Drive your head into the bench.

Ive tried that unless Im still doing it wrong. Will reattempt next upper day. Thanks boys

you can always just pre-exhaust your chest to guarantee that you feel it. hit some flyes first. or do some pushups. experiment with grips. Then you will for sure feel it. Trust me.

In some cultures the children are forced to ingest the semen if their adult leaders, under the belief that the leaders are passing on their test basically. Like the kids are supposed to get a performance enhancer by going down. It's a weird culture.

lost mine for a day and it happened to be shoulder and bis day (where i have the most sets. smh

also, I have to go by KG not LBs in my gym and i did the math wrong on one of my work outs......:{ thought i was doing 185, it was 175.

I hit 315x5x3 today on bench for a nice volume PR. Plan is to get it for 5x5 before the end of the year.

But the USAPL is switching to the IPF weight classes next year so I decided to just not cut. The 198s are going to 205 and the 220s are going to 231 so Ill probably just stay there and build as much strength as possible. One day ill move back to the 205s hopefully lol
