So, I tried Quest bars for the first time. Bruh, the White Chocolate Raspberry is BOMB. :hat

I tried the Chocolate Peanut Butter, Double Chocolate Chunk, and Chocolate Brownie ones as well. Those tasted like typical protein bars, but the White Chocolate Raspberry>>>>>>>>>

You just reminded me about the white chocolate raspberry quest bar I just bought today.. I never tried that flavor before.. :Nthat

Has anyone in here used fat grips on bell work?
sounds dumber than ******** upstream (I assume you mean kettlebells)

1). Kettlebells already tend to be pretty thick handled

2). Dynamic movement + fat grips= flying kettlebells

3). Not everything needs to have fat grips just because

People that switch to 5 meals a day or whatever also tend to watch what they eat and eat less than normal. From what I've read the actual benefits are very very minor.

I'm not going to bother with scientific studies or debate something on an article.

I just know I've done it and it works. It's just not realistic for most people to keep up.

Obviously, watching what you eat goes without saying if you're serious about cutting, no matter how you're trying to do it.

Caine Wilkes joined the Crossfit Lift Off and is rank 1 in heaviest snatch, heaviest clean jerk and heaviest weightlifting total. Big surprise there.

Ranked dead last in that AMRAP workout probably though lmao.

This is what happens when the best weightlifter in America does crossfit

:rollin at seeing a 300 pound man do double unders and chest to bar pull-ups, son was chalking up after every pull-up

Lol, just because you've achieved a cut physique not doing 6 meals a day ( I'm assuming) doesn't mean that it's bro science

There are different ways to meet the same end goal

Anyway, moving on

So simple guys! Doesn't matter if you eat 1 meal or 6 meals. All that matters is you hit your target macros and micros/fiiber for the day. Along with your water. So many myths have been debunked. Also no such thing as "bad" foods just bad portions. You can still live life and have fun and eat what you want without having to kill youself.

Can anyone hit me with some helpful links or info on intermittent fasting? Thanks in advance.

Intermittent fasting is not a diet, it’s a pattern of eating. It’s a way of scheduling your meals so that you get the most out of them. Intermittent fasting doesn’t change what you eat, it changes when you eat.

Also it a great way to get lean without going on a crazy diet or cutting your calories down to nothing. IF makes your day easier. You don't have to worry about eating all the time. Also for the windows it depends on you. You can do 16/8  18/6 even 20/4

Repped. And should I work out fasted or no?

Really depends on you bro. Some like to work out fasted and then start their window post workout. Others like me when I use to do IF. I would start my window with a meal then couple hours later workout then eat a big post workout meal. It was great when I was cutting back then. But since my caloric intake is so high even on a cut IF won't be a good idea for me anymore lol. Are you cutting?

Its so hard for me to get back on IF but it helped me alot. I got down from 215 to 180 in a couple months but once I fell off I could never get back into the routine. My window was from 10-2 everyday. I would drink my protein at 10am, eat my first meal at 12 which was usually chipotle and then whatever I brought to work at 2 then go to sleep by 8:30, wake up at 4:30, hit the gym by 5 for some fasted cardio along with my workout then not eat for another 5 hours until my first meal at 10 then do it all over again. It's good because you stop craving food all the time by the time you're into the first week of it. I also did a 24 hour fast every Friday with my last meal at 2pm then eating again at 2 on Saturday. To me it makes alot more sense than eating all day long.

I guess for people who dont have time to eat it makes sense but someone like me who has always been able to take a 15-20 min break to eat 6-7 meals has always worked for me. Even more so now that i work from home.
I personally couldnt imagine liniting to a tine frame. Im so use to meals now.

Ya the broscience is saying 5-7 meals, etc = boosted metabolism, thats blatant misinformation.

Ya it might help people manage calories and portions for sure, I'm not arguing with that, but the result is not a boosted metabolism.

It's amazing to me how many 'rules of thumb' or things like that are prevalent in this 'industry' if you will, that really have no actual scientific backing other than its just been pounding into public perception over and over again. That's what rustles my jimmies. I have no problem people saying I had good results doing 5-7 meals a day, thats great, but its not because of a boosted metabolism.
