"same" in terms of...? i agree about being hungry after i workout so yes, i usually eat something at least within a few hours. do i feel like my workout was wasted if i don't eat until many hours later? no. do you need to eat to get protein to the muscles you just ripped so you can start making those gains? no. the whole process of digestion and muscle protein synthesis is much more complex and the body is more adaptable than most people think.I find it hard to believe that eating 4 hourd after a workout is the "same" at the end of the day than eating a half or so after.
