Samantha Wright

People need to stop in general thinking that dude in the vid has an achievable physique. Im sorry but dude is probably on "something else". Or used that something else to get all that mass on (yes im a cynic)
But i def agree its a lifestyle change. Once clean eating becomes your life of course you can cheat. But not every day.

Don't neglect your rotator cuffs bros (most people do). Very important. Speaking from personal experience. Watch vid below and excuse the dude's goofiness. These can be done with bands, cables, free weights. Many more exercises on youtube.

MP Combat bars are delicious, but it explodes into a thousand pieces when I bite into one.

Geezus and here i thought cinnamon twist was the best bar ive ever eaten.
Birthday cake is tied

So good news. MRI came back. No torn ligaments :)

However there was evidence of cartilage damage and scar tissue buildup. I had scheduled surgery to clean up the scar tissue but about an hr ago, I changed my mind and cancelled it lol

If not doing the surgery isn't going to make my knee worse, then I'll just tolerate the pain.

6 weeks recovering from surgery is 6 weeks I could've made gains :)

Stop what youre doing. Go to gnc.
Get Birthday cake MP combat bar.

Youre welcome
i've had them. Not bad. I feel like everyone has their own taste when it comes to protein though. You just need to explore until you find your holy grail. Mine happens to be Quest chocolate chip cookie dough.

Really man? You missed the whole point of all that, he was trying to say its not worth counting calories, going on crazy low carb diets, doing tons of cardio just to get lean for a show. He even said something along the lines of fitness should improve you life, not consume it and make it a burden. Im not really looking to get in a discussion about this but come on, the bro bodybuilding diet and way of life is NOT something most people would recommend, especially if you are natural. I see more guys that live that life that are weird and its obvious they have body image issues to begin with as well.

Nutrition is all calories in versus calories out, all that other **** like meal timing doesn't make a damn difference. Also LOL at mentioning RC as an example, dude had some of the best genetics ever and was on everything.

I actually believe Ray when he says he's natural as well, hes like 32 and been lifting for a decade, really short and has good genetics. Im pretty sure in person he doesn't look as freaky as on camera, didn't Freeze meet CG in person and say he wasn't even big? They can edit and do a lot of stuff with all that high dollar camera and lighting equipment.

Just make your goals achievable or you'll quit. It's not supposed to suck. I think diet matters a hell of a lot more to some people than others. For me I just need to eat a lot of calories to gain weight. It's harder to gain it than lose it.

which I completely agree with,
but it takes work to get to the point you need to be.

Do you think any of the greats, Jordan, Gretzky, Rice, Sanders. was happily waking up at 5 a.m. to be in that gym everyday to make them selves better?? no you have to pay your dues to get to the level you want to be.

same goes for your gym goals... it's funny how all these people saying eat what you want to eat, have fun, don't do cardio all the time.. are all people with amazing physiques that they got from that "burden" (and great genetics)
not everyone can be part of that lucky 5%er life.
alot of us have to grind, work hard, try to reverse childhood follies, bad genetics...

So yes, don't burden yourself to where it turns you off or takes you away from going in at all
but you have to have discipline. PERIOD

That's also different coming from a powerlifter as yourself compared to someone like me who wants to have a good physique, and has been on stage before.

You have to pay the cost is the moral of the story before you can ease up the reigns.

No one is thinking about paying dues :lol

Elite athletes do these things because they LOVE the game and refuse to not be the best.

Same goes for the elite power lifters and body builders.

You just have to decide if you want to be the best, average, or just do this stuff for fun.

I mean I feel you but................
I sorta refuse to believe fresh start gym goers are going in initially thinking.. I want to be average and just mosey on in the gym just to do it.
Everyone has a goal. regardless if it's looking like Phil Heath, or just better than their current self. so Average is still usually better than you are which takes work.
